For as long as I can remember I have been obsessed with movement. Growing up in Cornwall I was ‘Fidgety’ in primary school, all I wanted to do was get outside, roll about on the floor, climb trees and sprint at full speed through the field. As I grew into my adult body I had periods of obsession with various movement practices. Gymnastics, trampolining, Karate, football, and later running, swimming and calisthenics. I’ve come to understand this need to move and physically release energy will always be there for me. I want to share the wealth of physical and mental health benefits I have found through these hobbies and lifestyle practices with the world. I knew that if I could possibly make a job out of this passion I had to try.

Clean Break uses theatre to keep the subject of women in prison on the cultural radar, helping to reveal the damage caused by the criminal justice system. Through our unique work, we raise difficult questions, inspire debate, and help to effect profound and positive change in the lives of women with experience of the criminal justice system. Since 1979, Clean Break has been the only women’s theatre company of its kind, and we continue to inspire playwrights and captivate audiences with our ground-breaking plays on the complex theme of women and criminalisation. Through theatre workshops and projects in prisons and in the community which build confidence, resilience and wellbeing, we transform the lives of women who have experienced the criminal justice system or who are at risk of entering it due to the challenges they are facing, such as mental health or drug use issues, which place them in circumstances that make interaction with the criminal justice system difficult to avoid. Our Members Programme is available to women aged 18 and above. The Programme offers a range of workshops and performance opportunities led by esteemed female theatre artists, underpinned by comprehensive support. Clean Break’s women-only identity is crucial to our rationale. The treatment of women by the criminal justice system is one of the clearest demonstrations that our society is still unequal and that women are judged by different standards to men. Our vision is of a society where women can realise their full potential, free from criminalisation, and we believe that theatre enables women to challenge their oppression by society in general and by the criminal justice system in particular.

Anna Kosa is a London based abstract expressionist artist with a background in BA Design & MSc Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. She is passionate about creating positive mental health enhancing original fine art paintings, interior pieces and delivers Positive Psychology Infused Abstract Art Workshops to individuals, groups and corporate clients. Designed to relax the mind, help cultivate positive emotions, mood states stimulating the creative side of the brain and help individuals to reconnect with their creativity and improve their chosen areas of self development. This effect reduces cortisol that is created by stress & elevates dopamine levels improving creative problem solving. She is inspired by Positive Psychology concepts such as Post Traumatic Growth, Broaden & Build theory informed by colour psychology. Her inspiration for colours come from the nature. The layering is informed by the complex nature of human beings. She has most recently attended O.Z.O.R.A. international music festival in Hungary, delivering her signature Positive Psychology Infused Art Workshops 'Paint with Intention' and 'Kids Painting Club'. Her work has very recently featured in British Vogue, London Life & Tatler. She is also part of The World of Interiors spring campaign in their March, April & May issue 2021. She is currently a self represented artist.

We work with some of the most deprived and challenging children in the local community. It is our duty to give them the education and skills and the best of British values to become independent adults contributing economically and socially to our community. We are a special school for 65 students aged between 10 and 18 years old who have social, emotional and /or mental health difficulties which can lead to challenging behaviour. Students are taught in small groups at up to a maximum of eight with a teacher and a learning mentor. In 1992 I commenced nurse training, and spent 13 years working as a nurse on 3 different continents. Having studied numerous wellbeing courses, workshops and techniques, including Reiki, NLP, hypnosis and channelling, I left nursing in 2007 and now work independently as a business consultant.  During this time I also received investment and Co-Founded a funding introduction company. My role was to build relationships with investors and run funding events. It was during my time here that I became aware of how important a pitch is when looking for funding. My business consultancy usually starts here. With my medical background, working in Cardiac Care Units and the Emergency Room, I developed a deeper understanding about the psychology of disease and wellbeing. From this came the title, 'The Heart Guy'. I now spend my time working with teams and training people how to improve their personal energy, mental health and pitching skills. Being no angel myself, this is a course in acceptance and balancing your life in a more harmonious way. Judgement and guilt are the stumbling blocks of wellbeing: My courses explain how they manifest, what you can do about it and how to feel better about your life.

Social Plugger was formed in 2019 as a direct response to the increasing shortcomings of the social care system. Coming from a background in music and charity work, founder Jae Kaae started experimenting with ways in which music could be utilised to support those with chronic health conditions. After observing first-hand the uplifting effect music had on his grandfather while battling the confusion of dementia, Jae began consulting with musicians, therapists and healthcare professionals to create digital wellness products that could effectively support those in similar situations. When the Covid-19 pandemic brought the stressors of isolation, loneliness and uncertainty into every home in Britain, we worked tirelessly to support those who needed help maintaining their mental health. Throughout the lockdowns, Social Plugger provided music therapy listening sessions to help people cope with anxiety and insomnia, and to maintain their general personal wellbeing.

We create bespoke workshops to bring people together.Mindful Photo Lab was created by French-Ethiopian photographer Pierre Bureau to offer you the opportunity to celebrate your creativity and improve your wellness. Before falling in love with photography, Pierre worked in an ancient manor in Cornwall as a hotel manager. During the winter he would travel to India, learning meditation, drinking chai in clay pots, and listening to Bollywood classics. During one of his trips, he suffered from severe mental health problems. A a consequence, he bought a camera to entice himself out of his room where he felt trapped. Taking photographs became a way to escape from his condition and has lead him on a path of mindfulness, allowing him to reconnect with reality and stay in the present moment.
