In their daily work, Colin, David, Emilia and Stuart had witnessed the power of sport first hand, be it in the incredible stories of women who fought against all odds just to get the chance to play the beautiful game, or in the children kicking a makeshift ball in a slum where the game seemed to wipe off their worries and create the brightest of smiles on their faces. Dream Fields was born out of the hope to spread this joy and grow it into sustainability livelihoods for communities where everyone has the right to play. The Dream Fields concept was born from this search for not merely ‘sport for good’ but ‘sport for sustainable and prosperous communities’. In 2021, co-founder Stuart decided to embark on a journey to better understand the real issues around sport and sustainability. As part of a course with the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership, he presented a general concept of how a sports facility could become the focal point of driving a local economy with a heavy focus on environmental sustainability, ultimately hoping to reach the level of interdependence seen in various symbiosis projects globally. After completing the programme, Stuart shared the concept with former colleagues Colin, David and Emilia. Wise Studies was founded in 2014 by Ryan Spielman and Spencer Barron. Our mission is to make available in-depth audio learning courses focusing on the texts and teachings of the world’s great contemplative traditions. We work with leading scholars, practitioners and experts in their field to produce quality education for serious students of contemplative study. We aim to produce courses that are engaging and informative with authentic, well-researched scholarship supporting the topics we present. We are not only the founders of Wise Studies we are consumers, as well! One of the reasons we are producing these courses is for our own study. We are passionate about deepening our knowledge of the traditions that have brought so much wisdom and joy into our lives. We consider it an ongoing lifelong process. An exclusive and independent rehab centre for the treatment of addictions and associated mental health issues The Haynes Clinic is a private rehabilitation centre for the treatment of alcohol, gambling and drug addiction. Drug addiction encompasses all so-called ‘recreational’ drugs (cocaine, ketamin, GBL, GHB, heroin and cannabis, for example). It also includes prescription medication for those with concerns about their use of drugs such as codeine, diazepam and other benzodiazepines, pregabalin, gabapentin and sleeping tablets. The centre provides detox and counselling with a view to you becoming entirely abstinent from alcohol and drugs. The counselling will also cover how to deal with stress, anxiety and depression – feelings that are often associated with addiction and other compulsive behaviours. Most of the rehab treatment is focused around group therapy as this has been proven to be most effective in helping addicts and alcoholics into recovery. There will also be some one to one counselling to cover individual goals and anything of particular sensitivity. All clients at The Haynes Clinic will have a consultation with our consultant psychiatrist on admission. She will prescribe any detox medication required and oversee your medical needs during your stay. Your stay here can be entirely private without it being revealed to your own GP and being on your medical notes – or we can liaise with your GP if you prefer. If we need to be in touch with your GP – or any other professional outside the confines of the treatment centre – this will always be with your consent. We also involve your family and those closest to you in your treatment. We ask the people who care about you to tell us about your behaviour and how it has affected them. We also offer them family counselling if they need support as a result of your addiction. The treatment centre is located in a tranquil, rural setting in Bedfordshire. We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible while getting you well. All clients at the centre have their own bedrooms in a home comfort setting. Some have en suite facilities. All are good sized well appointed rooms with a double bed. We take account of your choices when ordering in the food for your stay though once you are feeling physically better, your rehab experience will include taking on responsibilities such as helping to prepare meals and keeping your environment clean and tidy. Some people need to relearn these skills; others can share their experience, helping their peers to learn – which itself boosts self-esteem.

St Bonaventure’s has a long and distinguished history. Our school has been providing the very best education for Roman Catholic boys in this area since before 1875. The school was founded on its current site in 1877 by the Franciscan Friars, making St Bonaventure’s one of the oldest Catholic boys’ schools in the country – only the London Oratory is older. 2017 saw us celebrating 140 years of education in Forest Gate and although the World has changed immensely in that time, one thing remains the same and that is the love and care each student receives every single day by dedicated staff and teachers.
