Based in West London, we cover much of Greater London and the surrounding area with all one to one tuition taking place in the security and familiarity of your home. We offer customised training opportunities on a range of open courses for a wide variety of job and life skills opportunities through one-to-one learning support, individual learning plan, progress reviews and advice and guidance. We have delivered programmes ranging from privately funded courses to ESA, EFA 16-18, Traineeship, Apprenticeship, Advanced Learning Loan and Adult Education contracts from entry level 1 to level 7. Our excellence in quality assurance, leadership, and project management have enabled the sustainability of our business, timely completion of our learners' courses and in getting to their destinations. Our average success rate since 2014 is ninety-eight percent. Zurbel Training works with local communities such as the Job Centre Plus, Connexions, Advice & Guidance and the Outreach Team in making sure candidates are guided on the right path. Our gratitude to our business partners working with us for our learners' work job placement, 95 per centre. With the support of our centre partners, courses are now delivered closer to learners' vicinity within their community. They also have the opportunity to study from home via our online E-portfolio assessment system. On completion, all our learners supported with progression route into further education or employment, where we offer them workshop activities on their CV writing, confidence building and job interviews techniques. General feedback from stakeholders i.e learners, employers, staff and funders have been so encouraging, in seeing learners achieving their aims. Our main aim is to increase our provisions to the hard to reach target group in the country and to secure direct funding.

Ekcen Training is both a career and job focused Centre that runs a number of programmes to assist various categories of clients, from the highly professional to those with low to medium educational attainment to develop skills to enable them to access a spectrum of work, retain job and career opportunities. We are particularly adept at assisting clients with compound needs; including those first languages is not English, to develop basic functional skills to enable them to become active members of a civil society. Our staffs also have a unique understanding of how to support clients from deprived socio – economic neighbourhoods to become more confident about achieving positive life outcomes. Our Training and Capacity Building Programmes We run a menu of training and capacity building courses including: Early Years Educators, Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools, Health & Social Care Diploma, Functional Skills Entry Level 1 to Level 2 (English, Maths & ICT); New TAQA (Assessor & Internal Quality Assurance Award), Teacher Training (AET / CET / DET). We also run courses on confidence building and work preparation. We have track records of several successful EQA visits testifying to the quality of the support we give to our learners, quality of their work and the skills & knowledge of our Tutors/Assessors/Internal Verifiers. We are particularly proud of our success rate with clients undertaking training in courses relating to children and young people’s workforce and teaching assistant courses where over 90% of those who undertook this training obtained employment either during or on completion of the course.

CoCo has a team of staff and volunteers dedicated to building confidence, self-esteem and support positive lifestyle changes in young people via the conduits of education, sport and culture. Our staff have a background in mentoring and life coaching, project management, social inclusion, vocational training, and sports coaching. Our community based values are manifested in our training activities in the classroom, and our team activities which take place in positive open spaces and parks around Brighton and Hove. CoCo works with a variety of local organisations and stakeholders to achieve its goals and deliver its activities. For example, we work directly with youth clubs, Job Centre Plus, and youth/employment networks (Brighton’s Women’s Centre, the Chamber of Commerce, Brighton and Hove Youth Collective, and The Platform) to engage directly with young people that are interested in career planning, job search, our vocational courses, or sport team building activities. We also have close ties with sports clubs such as Hassocks Tennis Club, Preston Park Tennis Club, Pavilion and Avenue Tennis Club, Preston Panthers FC, Withdean FC and Patcham FC. With these clubs we organise team building events, joint sports days and in house training to develop soft and employability skills via sport. Our team has worked with hundreds of young people across Sussex to provide vocational training, mentoring and employability training. Our reach is growing and in 2017 hope to reach even more young people. Specifically, our qualified staff provide VET courses such as City and Guilds Level 1 Principles of Coaching Sport, Level 1-2 Employability Skills and Level 2 Travel and Tourism Destinations. We also provide Coaching and Mentoring Sessions with a qualified life coach, cultural activities and overseas team sports tours in Europe. Our aim is to support young people not in employment, education or training, aged 18-24, early school leavers now long term unemployed, general unemployed young people, and we place special emphasis on the participation of young women and the more socially excluded members of society. We use our links with local colleges, the local authority, community groups and youth networks to support young people into vocational training, improve their confidence and support them into further vocational training, work experience or employment.
