It all began when he decided it was time to leave London for the exciting buzz of Brighton and John took a role in a language school group as Regional Sales Manager. With an intensive travel itinerary John discovered how rewarding it was to meet people from different cultures around the world and to promote learning experiences for students. John’s success saw him rise to Head of Sales and he began dreaming of using his connections to form new businesses to complement the industry. In 2011 these dreams became a reality when John founded The Academy of English language school. READ MORE Entertainment & Leisure After years of working with the elderly, we have the necessary experience and are aware of their needs. CNG has decided to organise Lunch Club to entertain the elderly with traditional Iranian music and board games allowing them to interact with many others. We also supply them with Iranian cuisine. READ MORE Education For CNG the education of our youth and future generation is very important. CNG has a supplementary school where it focuses on teaching Farsi. The students are able to attend the extra-curriculum activities which take place after Farsi lesson. This includes Maths & English to enrich and support the students also Art, Crafts & Dance. READ MORE Support Due to covid-19 pandemic there has been a huge demand among the elderly, disabled and low-income clients for living essentials. CNG has been able to hand out food and supplies to many people. These people were not able to leave their homes for months due to the fright of COVID-19 and we believed it was our duty to help them.

The founder of Pushkin House Maria Kullmann was one of the few women of her generation to have a degree in theology. In her youth she became personally acquainted with the philosophers of the Russian Religious Renaissance who made the journey to the West in the legendary ‘Philosophers’ Ship’: Nikolai Berdyaev (1874 - 1948), Sergei Bulgakov (1871 - 1944) and Nikolai Lossky (1870 - 1965). Their writings, as well as those of Vladimir Solovyov were explored in depth in lectures and talks at Pushkin House. Nikolai Lossky frequently visited from Paris and also gave talks. Across the border in Soviet Russia, the works of Bulgakov, Berdyaev and Lossky were published in self-published ‘Samizdat’ form: the intelligentsia considered religious discourse as providing a theoretical platform that could inform resistance to the regime - alongside a discourse on human rights and continental philosophy. The charismatic head of the Russian Orthodox Church Diocese of Sourozh Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom) (1914 - 2003) regularly contributed to the programme at Pushkin House. He spoke on a wide variety of topics including Russian Christian thinkers and Nikolay Fedorov, the founder of Russian Cosmism. Among his lectures was one entitled ‘On Faith and Deed’ that was published as an essay and became an influential text within the Russian Orthodox Church community, as did ‘On Russian People’s Faith’, recordings of which from the Pushkin House archive can be listened to at this exhibition. In many ways Metropolitan Anthony defined his faith and beliefs through his lectures at Pushkin House, which were to have a great influence within the Russian Orthodox Church and beyond.

University Alliance established the centrally coordinated DTA initiative to develop the next generation of independent, highly-employable researchers with expertise and skills in strategically-important areas. DTA partners shared vision is the future-proofing of research and innovation through an open and sustainable approach by developing a national research ecosystem that maximises complementary strengths, is responsive and relevant to society and industry, and nurtures future capability within the high-quality research activity found in Alliance universities. Centrally coordinated by the University Alliance team on behalf of its partners, the DTA is one of the largest nationwide doctoral training initiatives in the UK. A few words about us at Cyber Benab. We are an online meeting place which aims to increase awareness of cybersecurity through online events, such as weekend bootcamps and intensive training courses. About us Our mission at Cyber Benab is to develop a community of cybersecurity aware enthusiasts and experts with the knowledge to defend critical data and infrastructure for individuals, businesses and government. Dr. Fraser, our Operations Director has developed cybersecurity and computer systems administration training courses for both private sector organisations, such as the Flatiron School in New York, and outreach courses for disadvantaged groups, including retraining for programmes for immigrant engineers at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. More recently, he has contributed to cybersecurity workshops as part of Vaugh’s College CSTEP programme which aims to increase access by minority and economically disadvantaged students to academic programs at the college level in scientific and technical fields. Cyber Benab is one of 108 UK security startup companies nominated to take part in the 2021 Cyber Runway accelerator programme which is sponsored by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). During 2022, Cyber Benab in collaboration with the Digital Policy Alliance and local outreach groups will play a leading role in delivery cybersecurity training to disadvantage groups in the UK starting with the London Borough of Lambeth. In recent years, digitisation has exploded in every aspect of the global economy. Sherry firmly believes that the more people train, the better it is for individuals, families, workplaces, communities, healthcare and the social care sector.
