Reinforcing healthy lifestyles by delivering workshops, cooking classes and fun inter-generational shared social gatherings. We aim to empower our community with the skills to live healthier lives; therefore healthier minds. We run regular away days for women, our parents and young people, where we teach them about mental health awareness, nutrition, holistic remedies and GOAL setting There is a mental health crisis in our school system and a huge increase within the last 5 years. Children are facing even more pressures than ever; exams, social media, cyberbullying and body image and need to develop skills to cope and succeed in today's world. We offer a safe and secure consistent place for vulnerable young people to find support. . OUR FUTURE LEADERS Who we work with One Step at a Time. We start working with our young people from an early age to ensure that we can follow through when building their confidence and self-esteem; especially when faced with challenges such as peer pressure, body image, mental health, and addiction. Our youth team helps to make all our courses a success. We use the skills of our Black community ambassadors, be-frienders, and arts awarded courses as a mean of engagement. With our youth, we use a unique approach to person-centred success. We encourage an holistic approach, making them aware of Black history, Black leaders and connections with the Black elders within our community. Our mission is to make a stronger and fairer world and to fight for equality.

We are a volunteer led work with very few staff, but this does not mean we are a small organization. We can see as many as 300 people a day, looking for our assistance. We remain open every day Our impact remains high We can do this for a fraction of the cost of other day centres. We do this without any statutory funding. We recognize the true strength of our volunteers. And we recognize the value of everybody coming through our doors. First, we help people by meeting immediate needs: food, shelter, clothing, and medical care. In our recovery programs, we address deeper needs for life-skills and job-skills training, and addiction recovery. We measure our progress against four criteria, which indicate to us that a life has been transformed from homelessness to hope: connection to family, commitment to sobriety, a job and a place to live, and a plan for the future. Today, The Whitechapel Mission is a results-oriented organization that is recognized as one of London's most effective. Our Purpose The Whitechapel Mission is called to serve the men and women caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness and dependencies of many kinds, and to see their lives transformed to hope, joy and lasting productivity. Our Goal To be the most effective provider of compassionate care and life transformation for hurting people in London. We promote the concept of being part of the Mission and taking ownership of the Mission. Any and all who come are welcome. The services we offer are built upon trust and belonging. The ASEAN Network for Green Entrepreneurship and Leadership (ANGEL) is co-funded with the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Union (Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education). ANGEL project is a convergence of ASEAN partner institutions’ responses to the strong need for capacity-building while confronting challenges of environmental degradation. In addition, ANGEL aims to support graduates as well as disadvantaged groups to attain a decent income which is derived from quality employment, and enhanced with entrepreneurial-leadership skills. Another goal is to help improve inclusiveness, because gender and other demographic divides exist and derail wealth creation across the ASEAN nations. The mission of ANGEL is to engender impact and transformation for two major target stakeholders of each partner institution in Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Vietnam and Malaysia. The first target group is the internal stakeholders, namely students, academic and non-academic staff, and top management. Within the context of Southeast Asian institutions, the green entrepreneurial mindset and transformational leadership skills and competencies are still new concepts and less implemented. The second target group of ANGEL are the disadvantaged groups within societies in Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Vietnam and Malaysia. This includes women and minorities, poor income groups in both urban and rural communities as well as people with disabilities (PWD). The Asian partners are supported by universities and institutions from Greece and Cyprus.

Acacia Community Care was started in 2010 by three people who all shared one vision – to bring a holistic approach to the Health and Social Care Community. Our knowledge is extensive – we’ve worked as a Level 1 Registered Nurse in the NHS, we’ve managed private care homes and we’ve been responsible for training people coming into the profession. Now we are using the experience to nurture the future of Health and Social Care sector. Based in Park Royal, London, we work closely with local authorities to enhance the level of care in both the immediate and wider communities. Acacia has developed and continues to improve its range of services which provide demonstrable benefit for all sector stakeholders. Our highly qualified instructors deliver relevant health & social care courses which equip and enable professionals to deliver a quality service within their care services. Acacia staff are highly trained, rigorously vetted and adhere to the four Guiding Principles to ensure they set the best example and lead the way in improving local Health and Social Care Services. For the wider community, the Acacia Foundation provides a free Advocacy Service as well as Health and Well Being Workshops to help people within the community access the services and support they need.
