Art in Flux CIC was founded in 2016 at Lights of Soho gallery in London by the artists Maria Almena, Olive Gingrich and Aphra Shemza. Art in Flux is a community interest company committed to furthering the development of the media arts in the UK. We have a specific focus on under-represented groups such as artists who identify as Neurodiverse, BAME, LGBTQIA+ and women in technology. As an artist-led forum, Art in Flux offers a space for collaboration and exchange as key artists and organisations come together to profile their work. By collaborating with major institutions such as; National Gallery X and the V&A Museum, Art in Flux creates talks, exhibitions, performances, workshops and bespoke digital art commissions to brings these ideas to the wider public, championing innovation in UK arts and culture. Art in Flux provides a fluid platform to discuss strategies, processes and collective themes within the media arts and is committed to the ever-changing needs of media artists working right NOW in the UK and will remain in a dynamic state of change in order to facilitate them. Student Light Mission With 10.5% of students in the UK not making it to the end of their degrees and 78% of students in the UK saying they've experienced mental health issues, something has to be done to increase retention rates and tackle the increasing levels of poor mental health within higher education institutions. Through extensive research, we've identified many of the common causes of students leaving university and experiencing mental health issues. With the direct support of university students and services, we've come up with many solutions to try and tackle these problems. This business hopes to act as a tool and resource for personal development, social and community development and most importantly a support tool for students. Secondly, networking, sharing data & research, sharing ideas and collaborating across different universities and Students’ Unions is difficult and an issue well overdue to be improved; especially when it comes to doing large scale data collection for research that's is key to effective campaigns and connecting common student groups/communities. This platform hopes to bridge that gap between institutions and empower students groups and leaders to achieve so much more, both academically, socially and politically.

The Primrose School of Dance was established by Kimber Benton in 2010 with a simple mission in mind – to take fine arts to children in the community. As the name suggests, we teach pupils how to dance. But for us, it’s much, much more than that. It’s about giving young people an introduction to the beauty of dance and open conversations through art. It’s about inspiring them, giving them confidence, creating a structure through which they can thrive, and at the end of the course a spotlight under which they can shine. We believe what we deliver is important. That’s why we care about how we deliver it. Our ethos is shared by all of our engaged and energetic instructors. They’re all experienced – with at least two years’ dance teaching and a degree or equivalent dance teaching experience – and passionate about giving youngsters the opportunity to bloom. They’re all trained to teach to the Primrose School of Dance guidelines, ensuring quality and continuity across our service, and follow accredited dance syllabus guidelines when delivering classes. Nick has 30 year's experience as a meditator, including 7 years as a Buddhist monk. He now brings together his monastic training with secular practices that allow everyone to benefit from this ancient wisdom of how to be happy through coaching people 1-1 to be the most powerful and creative expression of their life energy, as well as going into companies to run sessions that support mental health, emotional intelligence and creativeness. As well as his monastic training Nick has studied to lead the 8 week Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy course (that is recognised as a valuable treatment option for depression), Trauma release work and self-care meditations that boost self-empathy. Through this combination of skills Nick has supported many people over the last 13 years to find a happier and more fulfilling life as they take part in his courses and personal tuition. Nick also leads a meditation group for gay men that is now in its 13th year and meets every Monday in central London supporting the mental health and well being of the gay community and can bring this into companies for their LGBTQ+ networks.

The Mental Health Hub (TMHH) was created to serve as a companion to anyone beginning their mental health journey. At TMHH, we know how overwhelming it is to find help in the midst of mental illness. We offer clear and concise mental health information paired with easy-to-navigate resources to aid anyone through their mental health journey. We connect our audience to mental health resources, education, and services to expedite their recovery process. Whether it be learning about types of therapy and locating affordable sessions, understanding insurance coverage and obtaining discounted prescriptions, or even finding local support groups, TMHH aims to simplify this notoriously complicated process. OUR VISION Our initial aim is to create an interactive website providing both education on mental health treatments and direction to available resources in the community. Going forward, we plan to expand our offerings to include hosting mental health and wellness workshops, partnering with other organizations to reach a wider audience, encouraging exchange of ideas and experiences through our THMM blogsite, and providing visibility to local and nationwide mental health related businesses. We share the concerns raised by Arts Council England and the International Council of Museums (ICOM) about the risks faced by cultural professionals as well as the threats to cultural heritage because of this conflict and we send our support to all creative practitioners and cultural organisations and institutions affected. 5 June 2020: Stanley Picker Gallery and our partner venue Dorich House Museum recognise we must do more as cultural organisations to be actively anti-racist. We commit to taking immediate steps to implement a clear plan of action to address systemic racism at every level of our organisations, whilst actively seeking and welcoming critical engagement from diverse perspectives in this process. Stanley Picker Gallery at Kingston University is one of the leading university galleries and commissioning venues in the UK, working with artists, designers, students, academics and members of the local community to encourage creativity, learning, research and innovation. Established in 1997 with the ongoing support of the Stanley Picker Trust, the Gallery forms part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio and is a principal cultural interface between Kingston University and its civic communities in South-West London and beyond. From its island location on the Hogsmill River, our venue is a creative hub, a production site and a presentation space that functions as an “expanded studio” dedicated to commissioning and curating contemporary art and design practice, generating a dynamic programme of exhibitions, events and participation activities staged onsite, offsite and online. Appointed each year through public open call, our Stanley Picker Fellowships in Design and Fine Art support a diversity of contemporary practitioners to research, create and premiere ambitious new work, by providing generous grants, free studio space, professional expertise and valuable access to the world-class workshop facilities at Kingston School of Art. The call for applications opens annually in May. Our Participation Programme involves us working collaboratively with schools, colleges, community groups and local residents of all ages, to deliver a range of creative activities and shared learning and professional development opportunities for students, that engage everyone in the life of the Gallery, our partner venue Dorich House Museum and the wider University.
