In these procedures we focus on the complete protection of field joint coatings and prepare the pipe for the pull through by providing a robust mechanical protection over the field joint coating. It is evident that the integrity of composite repairs depends largely on how well the compounds are adhered to the surface of the pipe. We have studied that the profile of the prepared surface significantly affects the adhesion integrity of the composite repairs. However, many of the classified sites cannot be shut down for use of hot works surface preparation methods as grinding and sandblasting and as a consequence, many of the repairs were not performed satisfactorily due to poor adhesion to unclean surface. Through matching epoxy/resin based solutions with “cold grinding” methods, we are able to deliver an unparalleled process that ensures quality application and workmanship.

Welcome to Evolve Enterprise Established in 2016, Evolve Enterprise offer bespoke support for children from 7-11 who may be at risk of becoming disengaged in mainstream education due to their complex needs and vulnerabilities. We specialise in working with children who struggle to adapt to the demands and expectations of mainstream school and support them and their families through the pathways of assessment, planning and intervention. We offer a therapeutic based alternative provision from our center in Well Lane Primary School (Annex). We aim to to support schools, children and families and, if possible, help them to either re-integrate back to their mainstream school or enable transition into the provision that is most suitable to meet their educational needs at the earliest opportunity. Our therapeutic and nurturing environment is designed to support all our pupils to help them to progress and develop personally, socially and emotionally. We understand the importance to children and their development of being in a mainstream setting and spending time with peers and friends but, unfortunately this is not always possible. Our goal for all children who access the Evolve programme is to support them to integrate back into their chosen pathway while supporting schools, parents and other support services with a more strategic and seamless transition. At Evolve we have a strong sense of responsibility to our children and families and believe that by working in partnership we can help them to achieve so much more. How many emotions can you name? How many do you think your children can name? Research suggests we learn around 6 emotion words when we are young to help express how we feel, then we stop! We don't learn anymore - even when we're teens or adults! We try to navigate life's ups and downs using approximately 6 words! No wonder we can feel a bit mixed up sometimes! Research also suggests that we are all born with the same set of emotions (primary emotions) and we learn others (secondary emotions) as we grow from the age of 2 or 3. These secondary emotions are learnt from our experiences, where we are from and from our caregivers. So after a number of years research, Headssup was set up in 2019 to do 2 things: 1. increase the emotional vocabulary of children from 6 words to 15 words & 2. to do that within a psychological framework that included primary and secondary emotions How did we do that? 1. We created a character called Emi (short for emotional intelligence). 2. Emi became a teddy (see left hand page). A soft, fluffy conversation starter or comforter. 3. We then created a children's book to help Emi explain what primary and secondary emotions are in a child friendly way. Helping our little ones to learn up to 15 words to help explain how they feel that are all psychologically framed - helping make more sense of how they and others feel. 4. Next we thought it would be nice to have Emi animated. So we created 2 minute animations to go with each story that you can log in to (see a short clip of one below). 5. But we didn't stop there. Communicating our emotions can be hard. And our emotions can be effected by our physical and social health. So Emi also helps children learn how to communicate their emotions in the next story ELASTIC and what they can do each day to stay physically healthy in the story HEALTHY ME and finally, how to stay socially healthy in the story BLOOM AND BLOSSOM. 6. ELASTIC, HEALTHY ME AND BLOOM AND BLOSSOM story books also come with a link to their own 2 minute animation. 7. Finally, for our cooler 9-11 year olds, we created a character called Feelix and his team. Feelix has 6 story books and animations and includes help with high school transitions and healthy friendships. 8. Merseyside Polonia is the most recognised Polish not for profit organisation in the Northwest of England. It was established in 2009 as a charitable organisation. The organisation is based in Liverpool but the project and events often involve communities from other boroughs on both sides of the River Mersey. In the past few years, Merseyside Polonia has built up strong links with local authorities and services, arts and community organisations as well as other institutions and founders: among them Liverpool City Council, Polish Cultural Insititute in London or BBC Children in Need. The organisation was registered on 9th of June 2009 and is governed by a Board of Trustees. Merseyside Polonia governing documents are Memorandum and Articles of Association. Main objects of the organisation are: to raise awareness of the Polish Community and culture among the local community to support community development of Polish and other communities to build community cohesion by increasing understanding between communities representing different cultural backgrounds Areas of work ARTS Polish names such as Polanski, Chopin or Lem are well known worldwide. Our aim is to give you a chance to celebrate and experience contemporary Polish arts in Liverpool together. We support a range of activities across the arts – from literature and film festivals, reading groups, poetry slams, film premiers, to music concerts and dance workshops. In the past few years we have been working with local artists, well known Polish writers and filmmakers, storytellers, poets, musicians, UK based publishers, arts institutions, and venues. CULTURE A culture is a great tool for building strong relationships. We believe that a variety of events we offer give our participants an opportunity to engage and explore culture in many creative forms. We organise Family Arts and Crafts Workshops, celebrate Polish and English traditions, such as: Christmas, St Andrews Night, Polish Midsummer Festival, and more. We are a group of individuals who gravitated towards each other over the course of a number of years as we recognised we had similar values, goals and motivations, the main one being ‘helping others’. We have over 35 years experience in the fields of Mental Health, Wellbeing, Psychology and Corporate Training. Sean Heneghan is a Chartered Organisational Psychologist and accredited coach. His belief is that each person has the potential to perform at a higher level within their current working delivery, but they are often unaware of their real potential. The most useful training is often as much about enabling individuals to grasp new opportunities to play to their strengths, as it is about helping them to become more aware of ‘new thinking’ that is sometimes necessary to help them challenge areas that they were previously unaware of. He has a passionate belief in people’s ability to learn and change and this comes across in his enthusiastic, trusting and empathetic style. Sean Liddell is an accredited MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) Suicide First Aid (City & Guilds) and Mindfulness practitioner and coach. A naturally empathic motivator, Sean utilises his coaching skills and conversations to challenge and embed learning to effect positive behavioural change. He has helped hospitals within the NHS, school teachers and students, university lecturing staff as well as other organisations experience the benefits of Mindfulness. He has also mentored young leaders from the commonwealth through the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust. He spent twenty years in a corporate role as an Associate Director for Lloyds and HSBC where he developed his leadership skills in sales, marketing, and communications. He was also appointed an official mentor to the Queen’s Young Leaders (QYL) mentoring 2 future leaders from St Kitts and Nevis and Grenada in the Commonwealth. The QYL was established through The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, in partnership with Comic Relief and The Royal Commonwealth Society as well as speaking at international conferences. Feedback from a recent MHFA course: “If I could have gone higher than 10, I would have, Sean was fantastic in the way the course was presented. The way in which he addressed the topics made many of the attendees so comfortable that even I spoke about things that I did not think I would be able to discuss due to the relaxed tone and area we were in.”
