The Breckfield & North Everton Neighbourhood Council (BNENC) is a Community based Voluntary Organisation that provides practical help, advice, support and training to some of the 15,000 residents in one of the most deprived area’s in the country. Breckfield and North Everton operates within The Everton Ward and are ranked 4th most deprived wards out of 8414 Nationally. BNENC was formed in 1996 by the merger of both the Breckfield Neighbourhood Council & The Everton Neighbourhood Council. In 1997 BNENC became a registered charity and company limited by guarantee it was during this period that BNENC managed to get Liverpool City Council to place a Community Development Worker within the organisation.

The Premier Academy League is the first and largest competition for independent football academies in Australia. It offers young footballers the opportunity to compete in structured, professional, high-quality matches, and has been designed with a strong focus on enjoyment and holistic player development. Currently operating year-round in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, the league also hosts the annual National Cup, attracting academies and teams from all over the country for a week-long festival of football. In the coming years, we plan to expand the Premier Academy League to even more locations, offering more academies and their players the chance to participate in our competitions.

We are a cookery school for disabled adults 18 plus. At StedyChefs we teach all about the joy and fun to be had whilst cooking ,not only helping improve life skills but building self confidence and making friends along the way. Our whole building is covered in fun graffiti, our chefs wear a full uniform and different coloured bandanas making their time here as fun as possible. We also teach other activities such as art and music, the Beatles actually played in our building in 1961. Our chefs cook everything from scratch and not only this, they grow their own vegetables in our outside space as well as doing outside cooking in warmer months. Our chefs do food related trips also once every six weeks. Some of our chefs volunteer and in the past have worked in local cafes and football stadiums. Our youngest student is 18 and our eldest is 63 years old. The food our chefs create on a daily basis can only be described as phenomenal. We are also part of the International Cookery School Association (School Of Excellence) We also teach our students health and safety in the kitchen. We recently had Merseyside Fire Brigade in our centre to deliver a lesson on hazards that may occur in a kitchen and how to handle them safely. Merseyside Police have also attended our centre to deliver on a lesson on how to stay safe when using the internet. In January of this year, seven of our students gained their Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene In The Kitchen qualification. It took us over a year of visually and verbally training our students in preparation for their test. As they passed, they are now able to legally work in a professional kitchen environment. One of the students is now actively looking for paid work in the catering sector using his newly acquired qualification. We have also partnered with The Trussell Trust and are now running a food bank from or building with the help of our wonderful students.

Two brands, Nyquest and Smaller Earth, who both wholeheartedly believed in the lasting positive impact of summer camps around the world. Hello I am Sophie, the founder and owner of Samsara Yoga Studio. I fell in love with yoga a while back now, for everything that it gave to me, strength, balance and self enquiry. After training to teach in India I found a new passion for passing on the practise and sharing my admiration for everything I have learnt along the way. Before catching the yoga bug, I was a professional dressage rider and I am lucky enough to own and care for two beautiful horses, who take up any spare time I have. Being outdoors makes me happy and a great deal of my classes are influenced by the elements and what nature can teach us. I hope to meet you at a class very soon.
