This qualification gives the participant the knowledge and skills to take on the role of a first aider in the work environment. Employers can book this course for their employees in the knowledge that they are fulfilling their legal statutory responsibilities for providing quality first aid training

This first aid course is ideal for primary and nursery school teachers, child minders and child careers. Learn how to manage emergency situations or minor everyday occurrences when looking after infants through to teenagers. Qualification meets the criteria defined for first aid training in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS) and Ofsted first aid requirements for registered childminders. It can also be used as evidence for employees working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

This Level 3 Course is a full 3 day first aid at work course which is designed to help higher risk organisations. We can come nationwide or you can come to us.

This 1/2 day course covers the role of the designated fire marshal. It also gives you the opportunity to learn about the different types of fire extinguisher and how to use them correctly. Our Fire marshal / warden courses are delivered by our training team. This results in an enthusiastic, accurate and above all professionally delivered fire marshal training course - our ethos of 'Training... By Professionals' does not stop at our first aid training and clinical education, it spreads across all of our courses! As with all of our training, these professionally delivered courses are active, involved, informative and practical. At Medical Education Group, we do not deliver your 'average' training course! Emergency First Aid at Work. This 1-day FAA Level 3 Award course offers training for a variety of emergency first aid situations in the workplace. It gives delegates the confidence to deal with any of these safely and efficiently.

First aid at work

The First Aid at Work qualification is the most comprehensive of all our first aid qualifications, and covers a wide range of skills which can be used within a workplace first aid situation, including: assessing the scene, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis, plus much more.

On this course we go into far greater detail on understanding the dog’s needs, behaviour, state of mind, language, and improving your leadership skills.
