This first aid course is ideal for primary and nursery school teachers, child minders and child careers. Learn how to manage emergency situations or minor everyday occurrences when looking after infants through to teenagers. Qualification meets the criteria defined for first aid training in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS) and Ofsted first aid requirements for registered childminders. It can also be used as evidence for employees working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
This 1 day paediatric first aid course with child CPR training is perfect if you wish to provide first aid in early years settings, such as nurseries, after-school clubs, creches and childminding. We cover everything you need to know so you can gain the paediatric first aid certificate. This basic 1 day course covers all the necessary basics in infant and baby CPR. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. This accredited qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide help to infants and children in a range of first aid situations.
Mental Health "First Aid" Training
The Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid course has been specifically designed for those who work in settings that require both First Aiders and Paediatric First Aiders, such as schools, sports clubs, or other childcare settings, and has been perfectly streamlined to avoid the duplication of topics associated with attending both the First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid courses separately.
