We understand that not all young people learn in formal classroom settings so have developed small group programmes that are individualised, practical but challenging. Our aim is to provide educational qualifications and build learner confidence.

A youth project empowering and inspiring young people in Tadcaster and the surrounding area.The Bridge Project exists to 'Invest in young people so they feel valued and accepted, empower young people to live up to their potential and inspire young people to dream!' We are a Christian charity based in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire and we work in Tadcaster and the surrounding villages.We do this through providing a wide variety of children’s, youth and family activities including work in the local secondary school and two primary schools. We run a twice weekly youth drop-in and weekly primary aged club, parent and toddler groups, summer holiday club and various trips through out the year.

Exodus was formed in the year 2000 by Jackie and Martin, who still manage the project's operations and development. From one activity club in the Town Centre of Barnsley and lots of dreams, the project has grown to 16 activity clubs, a weekend activity centre, two charity shops, 14 staff, 60+ volunteers, 3 mini buses and a large white van! We now have projects all over Barnsley, including Town Centre, Worsbrough Common, Darfield, Brierley, Staincross, Cudworth, South Hiendley and Bank End. We have 7 trustees, who continue to guide and inspire our vision for the future.

The African Caribbean Achievement Project (ACAP) was set up in 1995 to promote and raise the educational development of people of African & Caribbean descent. We are an education-based charity that has fought for racial justice and equality in education since we started and continue to do so to this day. We are a volunteer-led service and provide mentoring, advocacy and educational support to young people. We also provide advocacy and support services to parents as well as a range of other activities Over the years the service has developed to include young people from all sections of the community and not just African and Caribbean young people. Our service is inclusive and we assist all young people to realise their full potential in all areas of their lives.
