You School of Makeup was created by Terri Craig Makeup Artist. Terri has worked in the industry for over 30 years and has enjoyed great success working with Reebok, Daily Record, Scottish Slimmers and most recently Westender Magazine Glasgow, to name just a few. During that busy time Terri also enjoyed a post as a beauty therapy and makeup artistry lecturer at various colleges in Scotland and is still lecturing part time at City of Glasgow College. Here at you School of Makeup we have a small and intimate learning environment with classes comprising from only 4 to 6 students (excluding the Girls day Out course.) We have carefully tailored our courses to the needs of busy men and women who are in the industry and also for people who just need to be pampered. We feel with this structure we can offer the best education at a reasonable cost and time: with verified accreditation that will help you get ahead in your new chosen career.

A dynamic and physically challenging practice consisting of six series of postures (asanas) to be learnt and followed in sequential order. The first, Primary Series, (‘Yoga Chikitsa’, or ‘yoga therapy’) realigns, detoxifies, and stabilizes the body, purifying muscles and organs, and building strength, stamina and flexibility. The second, Intermediate Series (‘nadi shodana’ or ‘nerve cleansing’) works on the subtle body, purifying and strengthening the nervous system. The remaining four or Advanced Series (‘Sthira Bhaga’ or ‘divine stability’) require even deeper levels of strength, concentration and humility. Whichever series you are practising, you will always start with the same set of ‘sun salutations’(surya namaskar) and end with the same sequence of finishing postures. Each posture builds on what has been learnt before. The student must not race ahead and try to do too much too soon, as each level is a preparation for the next, and must be fully developed before moving on. It takes time for the body and mind to strengthen and stabilise, and many years of practice. Moving on before you’re ready could result in injury.

phantom's legacy

He was an amazing horse who was a complete gentleman with a wicked sense of humour. He was extremely intelligent and very good at reading emotions and feelings; he was gentle and understanding however if you didn’t have a clue, he was capable of giving you a run for your money. He taught us the need for patience and that things in life cannot always be rushed. Over the years, through watching family and friends engaging with him we noticed how his behaviour changed to suit the approaches of the different people he came in contact with. If you were nervous then he was calm, if you were sad he could make you smile. However if you thought you knew more than you actually did, then he wasn’t long in letting you know how wrong you were. His loving and loyal nature made everyone feel at ease and showed us all the benefits of being around horses. Sadly, at the age of 28, after 24 years being part of Wilma’s family and Janis’s friend, he passed over the rainbow bridge. Phantom Our inspiration for Phantom's Legacy We had discussed for many years the possibility of opening a centre to provide therapy and education using horses. From our experience of being around Phantom and his best buddy Basil, we felt this could be possible. We talked a lot about it but never took it any further as we always found some reason not to. Phantom’s passing gave us the kick that we needed as we suddenly realised life is too short not to take the opportunity to help others experience what we learned from Phantom. In attempting to find a fitting memorial we decided that it was time to follow our dreams and keep his memory alive, Phantom’s Legacy was born.
