Who Should Attend Those working towards their King's Badge (16 to 18 years old). Course Description Young people are required to participate in a practical course focusing on developing new and existing skills for work towards the King's Badge. The course is designed to help prepare and support the young person in an element of their King's Badge programme. Participants take part in problem solving, games and group activities. (Other courses are available through local Battalions). The cost is £9 per participant, you can pay by card while booking or select cash and we will invoice on receipt of entries. The venue for each of these courses is Battalion HQ.

Trauma Risk Management is an evidence based, peer delivered risk assessment and ongoing support system, designed specifically to help in the management of traumatic events.

Closed groups of 6 to 18 learners per session. Learn how to engage in meaningful conversations about workplace wellbeing with the supports designed to enhance your skills as an effective leader. Empowering leaders and managers to support mental wellbeing in the workplace. This comprehensive course is designed to equip learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to support themselves and their team’s wellbeing.

Our training programme will provide those involved at any stage of the process for procuring goods and/or services within their organisations with the knowledge and skillset to identify and mitigate the threat posed by the breadth and multi-layered complexity of procurement fraud, corruption and associated financial crime and money laundering.

Open to any BBUK Captain’s/ Leaders in charge who have fully completed the registration process. Safeguarding and Managing Risk e-learning modules must be completed prior to attending the training course. By the end of our time together you will be able to: Feel confident in your role as Captain or Leader-in-Charge. Recognise your responsibilities in creating a safe environment in the Company, including Safeguarding and Managing Risk. Know where to find the resources and support available to deliver quality youth and children’s work in the Company. Understand how to establish and maintain positive working relationships. Identify and manage the development and sustainability of the Company.
