APS was founded in 1995 to support professionals working, or interested, in design and construction health and safety risk management. Members are largely drawn from architecture, engineering, architectural technology, project management and surveying. Membership of APS supports continuous professional development and demonstrates the highest professional standards. The Association for Project Safety [APS] is the representative professional body dedicated to working in partnership to eliminate deaths, tackle ill-health and manage risks throughout the whole life of any project in the built environment.

Hello and welcome!  Following many years in the NHS as a senior nurse and educator I founded my company in 2012.  I support individuals, teams and organisations to communicate at their best with a particular interest in conflict, complaints and bringing compassion to life. Working with Scotland’s Ombudsman gave me a unique perspective about the emotional elements often associated with concerns and conflict. And from there I have developed a whole suite of resources to support us communicating at our best, managing conflict and caring for ourselves in the rich rollercoaster of life. I am an Honorary Fellow at the University of Edinburgh where I was awarded a Doctor of Science in 2020 for services to nursing.  I am still involved in some part time teaching.  I am also the Chair of North Edinburgh Dementia Care I remain a registered nurse and teacher. And continue to learn using a number of approaches including Appreciative Inquiry, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Mindful Self Compassion. I look forward to welcoming you on one of my courses. A warm welcome from Stagecoach Theatre Arts School Edinburgh! We offer quality part-time training in the performing arts for children aged 4-18yrs, covering Dance, Drama and Singing. Our aspiration is that Stagecoach Edinburgh is a buzzing, inspirational environment in which the students feel encouraged to reach their full potential whether they are coming to develop confidence, make friends or with a professional performing arts career in their sights.
