All coaching is delivered from a First-Class Honours vocalist and performer- Lainey Vox. At Vox Stars, we want to empower you to make the most of your voice and performance skills. Students are encouraged to embrace their own unique style and are also given the opportunity to build a diverse repertoire by experimenting with songs from various genres. Vox Stars coaching explores a variety of Popular Music genres including Pop, Rock, Musical Theatre, Indie and Disney. Coaching at Vox Stars explores the scientific workings of the voice which enables the student to explore various voice qualities and approaches to style. To achieve performance optimisation in students, Lainey Vox uses tried and tested singing techniques, a variety of fun anecdotal examples to help you visualise goals, demonstration and praise to guide students. Lainey helps build confidence in performers enabling them to overcome stage fright, create a stage persona, have free performance movement, be more equipped for life in the music industry and build a social media presence. Vox Stars is an inclusive learning environment. Therefore, Lainey aims to help  students of various learner styles and abilities. She also strives to build learner strategies for those with special educational needs such as dyslexia. Lessons will enable you to have fun, fall in love with the vocal instrument and help you reach for the stars!    Vox Stars also offer 5 star rated workshops , they focus on a variety of exhilarating themes from Disney to Pop stars. Event days include a room draped in themed decor, action packed singing and dancing activities to brilliant music, fun drama and performance explorations, exciting games and themed crafts. To make the day extra awesome we provide prizes and party bags, refreshments and snacks, and area for parents to relax with hot drinks and nibbles. Kids workshops focus on creating, making, performing, learning through singing and music, film and friendship based activities. Private workshop style parties can also be arranged with Vox Stars!

Leveraging our strengths as an innovator in online learning design, development, delivering, and funding, we volunteer our skills and energy and partner with organizations to deliver STEAM education to children in these developing nations, starting with Colombia. In 2020, after an intense 5-year review, Colombia was welcomed as the newest OECD member. In 2021, GeeLearn Ltd. Partnered with the Children’s University at the University of EAFIT (Universidad de Los Ninos de Universidad Escuela de Administración, Finanzas Instituto Tecnológico) in order to volunteer its skills, knowledge, and talents to expanding the reach of Children’s University via digital learning throughout not only Colombia but the whole of Latin America. Background of GeeLearn Ltd. and its Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative: Online Science Education for Children: Colombia to Latin America 2020 – 2023 GeeLearn Ltd. is a social enterprise headquartered in The Melting Pot, “Scotland’s Leading Centre for Innovation”. This volunteer effort for EAFIT Universidad de Los Ninos on behalf of GeeLearn Ltd. represents a social good and comprises a major part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative over a period of three years. The CSR initiative was approved by the company’s board of directors in the Autumn of 2020. The goal of the company was to engage with an educational initiative to help serve children in a developing country that is a member of the OECD. Colombia became an official member of the OECD in 2020, the 37thcountry to do so in the organization’s 60-year history. The directors of GeeLearn Ltd. have identified 6 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that its volunteer cooperation with EAFIT’s Universidad de Los Ninos touches upon and will help Colombia achieve. Beeslack Community High School is a relatively small secondary school with a school roll of approximately 740 pupils. We are smaller than your average secondary school and as a result we know our pupils well. We offer a curriculum which is designed around the principles of Curriculum for Excellence to meet the needs of all of our learners and offers opportunities for our young people to develop their skills for learning, life and work. As well as the formal curriculum, we offer a wide variety of exciting extra-curricular activities that develop our pupils' creativity, talents and passion for learning. We also offer pupils the opportunity to extend their learning beyond school on excursions and expeditions. We have links with a school in Malawi and have run a number of expeditions for students, as well as trips to Europe. I believe in coaching the person, not the problem as it is all connected and I love helping people to achieve more balance in their lives. Prior to re-training as a Co-Active coach with CTI (The Coaches Training Institute – the world’s leading coach training organisation) I worked in Restaurant/Hospitality management for over 18 years. This provided me with the opportunity to meet, support and serve a diverse group of people with vastly different personalities leaving me in a great position to coach a wide range of individuals. Why choose a Co-Active coach? What is different about a Co-Active coaching conversation? Coaching is not about solving problems, although problems will be solved. It is not primarily about improving performance, attaining goals or achieving results, although all of that will certainly happen over time in an effective coaching relationship. I believe that coaching is chiefly about discovery, awareness and choice. It is a way of empowering people to find their own answers, encouraging and supporting them on the path as they continue to make important life-giving and life-changing choice. The power of choice itself is an amazing thing, I believe that every situation has possibilities and that people really do have the power of choice in their lives. I also LOVE to cook and am a big fan of gaming in my spare time to help keep my brain active – it’s also very social and I love people.
