We'll meet in the centre of Edinburgh at the Grassmarket where we'll say a quick hello and jump right in. I'll explain a little about the settings on your camera so that you'll hit the ground running and get some great photographs of this amazing city. From the Grassmarket we'll move on to get photographs of the incredible Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile Cockburn Street. The tour is tailored to your ability level and is aimed at beginners wishing to use manual mode. We will cover white balance, exposure, composition etc and I'll aim to get you comfortable in taking your photography to the next level. You'll get a good walk, but most importantly some great photographs and the skills to start developing your own style.
Social Distancing will be adhered to as per Scottish Government guidelines to keep us all safe.
We'll start in the Grassmarket at The Vennel where there is a well photographed view of Edinburgh Castle - from there we'll move up to Victoria Street for a romantic view of the colourful street below . Working our way down some of the Royal Mile, we'll visit some of the quaint alleyways. We'll carry on down and take in the outside of St Giles Cathedral, the High street and Cockburn street. James Christie will show you the wonders of Rosslyn Chapel (Da Vinci Code movie and book by Dan Brown), also known as the Collegiate Chapel of St Matthew built in the 15th century. The history of the chapel is intriguing and has been linked with the Knights Templar; Freemasonry; Batman; Dan Brown&rsquo;s book &ndash; The Da Vinci Code and The Holy Grail.

From Rosslyn Chapel we travel south to Melrose Abbey, properly known as St. Mary&rsquo;s Abbey and was founded in the year 1136 by Cistercian monks. There we photograph the impressive ruins, including the ceiling structures using a ProFoto B1 Off Camera Flash (OCF) to get photographs that no other tour operator can offer! We have lunch in Melrose (not included in tour cost).

After lunch we head up to Scott&rsquo;s View, overlooking the River Tweed and is reputed to be Sir Walter Scott&rsquo;s favourite view in all of Scotland. We then head to Dryburgh Abbey (Built in the year 1150) on the banks of the River Tweed. Sir Walter Scott is buried at this Abbey, as well as Earl Haig.

We then head south to the immensely impressive Jedburgh Abbey. It was founded in the 12th century and dedicated to the Virgin Mary. We use a fisheye lens here to again capture images that most tourists simply don&rsquo;t get.

From Jedburgh Abbey it is a short drive to Kelso Abbey, also founded in the 12th century, founded by a group of Tironensian monks!

Contractual law in Healthcare. Vicarious Liability and your
Duty of Care.
M3 - Anatomy & Physiology:
Sites appropriate to IV cannulation. Hand vs. arm.
Advantages and disadvantages of relevant veins.
An overview of Homeostasis and Fluid Balance.
M4 - Hygiene and Infection Prevention & Control (IPC):
Reducing healthcare-associated infections. Keeping Safe.
Bloodborne Pathogens and Work Practice Controls.
Standard Precautions. Waste Disposal. Needle-stick injuries.
M5 - Indications and Advantages:
When to cannulate, infusion types and benefits over
alternative infusion routes. Continuous and intermittent infusion.
