Following new measures issued by the Prime Minister on 10th May 2020. Our office will be open from 8 am to 1 pm from Tuesday 12th May 2020 to Friday 15th May 2020. This will be for any enquiries and to allow us to contact our customers and rearrange courses. Anyone attending Gas Flare Limited from Monday 18th May 2020 onwards are required to bring appropriate P.P.E to be able to undertake training and/or assessment. We would urge our customers not to attend Gas Flare Limited if they are experiencing COVID 19 symptoms. Gas Flare Limited training centre, based in Bristol, is an accredited BPEC and Gas Safe registered assessment centre catering for already qualified gas engineers and those looking to gain access to the gas industry. Whatever your needs our team of highly experienced gas trainers and assessors will guide and support you through the entire process. Training and assessment takes place in our well-equipped, purpose built facility which provides a realistic environment with the aim of building confidence and developing the professionalism needed to work safely in the gas industry. We have identified that a trainee’s confidence is very much boosted by a ‘hands on’ approach as opposed to slowly working through units in manuals. Our aim is to promote a relaxed atmosphere and course members will be provided with light refreshments and lunch to support this. Free car parking is available. A local accommodation package at a discounted rate can also be arranged. Located in Bristol, Gas Flare Limited is well situated close to the M32/M4/M5 for easy access from all directions. Gas Flare Limited has a variety of gas training courses ranging from domestic gas, commercial gas, LPG, and combustion performance testing. We also offer oil, essential electrics, unvented hot water, water regulations, legionella and energy efficiency training and assessment courses. CaPPP is a networking organisation for counsellors and psychotherapists in private practice in the south west of England. Being a member of CaPPP enables practitioners to meet others, to share thoughts about their work and to feel connected with people doing similar work. Private practice can sometimes be a lonely occupation. CaPPP members are able to network via CaPPPchat an email service which enables you to communicate with over 500 CaPPP members, to ask for or share professional information. We organise occasional Community Meet-up meetings and online Open Space meetings to explore shared professional concerns and interests. We offer a programme of continuing professional development workshops which aim to provide stimulating approaches and ideas that can be applied to practice. We also hold an annual gathering which explores a topical theme and is free for members. As CaPPP is a not-for-profit organisation* the aim is to keep all events at the lowest possible cost. Moorland Road Community Library was set up to manage and run the library in response to hearing that Council funding for the library would cease in March 2019. To prevent closure of this facility in our community, it will be run by the community for the community. We are all volunteer local residents. We believe that our library is a vital resource for our community, providing a community meeting space with the opportunity to continue to borrow books for free. We love the ‘click and collect’ services offered by the Bath and North East Somerset library service to its members. This means all existing library card holders can choose from the 2.5 million books currently held across the libraries of the south west, reserve them to arrive and be collected from Moorland Road Community Library. Of course library card holders can also choose from the books held on the shelves. We have created a new organisation and have gained registered charity status. We are independent of any other organisation.

Angela Roberts is a long-term student of yoga and it continues to enrich and inspire her life. She has been teaching yoga since the 1990s and runs yoga classes in and around Bath. She is an accredited British Wheel of Yoga teacher, a Senior Yoga Alliance registered teacher and a Yoga Sports Coach. She has completed Paul Harvey's 3-year Professional Yoga Teaching and Therapeutic Healthcare Training Programme and continues to study with Paul (whose teacher was Desikachar). She is also co-director and teacher trainer on the 200 hour, Yoga Alliance registered, Yoga Bodhi Teacher Training Course held in Bath and a Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs teacher. She first came to yoga as a teenager through her interest in spirituality and meditation and her love of movement and dance later led her to asana practice. She is particularly interested in working with the breath and practising pranayama. She has had the privilege of studying under many wise and amazing teachers from different traditions but increasingly with those who directly follow the teachings of Śrī T Krishmacharya. Angela encourages enquiry and discovery, looking for ways to uncover and free tension patterns, to observe and to allow space for individual growth.

Henry's playscheme is our popular childcare initiative based at Horfield C of E School. It is managed by a voluntary committee of parents, who have children attending the School. The committee are always looking for parents/carers who wish to be involved with the running of the scheme. Henry's caters for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. The club is based in our Partnership Room with its own cooking and toilet facilities and separate intercom entrance from the school to ensure the safety of your children. There is ample outdoor play space with both a grass and tarmac area. A light tea will be provided daily. Activities The Play Manager and Room Leaders will co-ordinate the play activities based on the ideas and suggestions of the children attending Henry's. These will include: arts and crafts, sport and games, cooking, entertainment, free play, computer, playstation, television/DVD, quiet corner for homework. Fees The scheme operates Monday to Friday afterschool during term time only. The fees per session are £11.75 per child. There are no reductions for siblings.
