The Beauty Click was founded in April 2018 by Chantelle Bass. The idea came about as Chantelle has always been a working parent and understands how difficult it is to make time for beauty and hair treatments. She wanted to produce a website that has a platform for both the beauty and hair  specialists themselves and for the customers wanting to fit in appointments around their busy schedules. After being let down by her new child-minder for the umpteenth time, Chantelle bit the bullet gave up her sales career and put her all into launching this business. Chantelle’s life time friend Lauren came on board in June 2018, after understanding and sharing her vision she chose to also focus on building The Beauty Click brand. Lauren too is a parent and has dealt with the stresses of fitting things in around her parenting and work life. Chantelle’s career has mainly been within the sales and business development sector and Laurens within childcare, but both have also worked in the beauty industry and have a strong passion to be able to help those that want to learn new skills and move into the hair and beauty realm. After putting their full focus into the growth of The Beauty Click, working tirelessly to put into action the many ideas they’ve had and continue to envision, as well as being full time parents. It hasn’t been an easy journey so far but has been both exciting and inspiring, they are passionate and dedicated to the success of the company and are proud of the entrepreneurs they have become. A lot of the values of the business are to help parents get into flexible work by providing training and then to assist with a customer base, the Beauty Click has proved to be perfect for this. Also, to provide a solution for not just parents, but for everybody in this hectic world that we live in to keep up with regular self-care appointments or to allow for that cheeky pamper session. The Beauty Click is in a league of its own when it comes to Beauty on demand services. We do not set our prices, our members set their own. This means customers have a choice of the amount they are able or wanting to spend on treatments. We do not push out those that have a lower budget and we also have high end members that use exclusive products and have a higher price range. We pride ourselves in catering to the needs of all, including you!

I am delighted to have been appointed as CEO of Education Impact Academy Trust from 1st January 2022. I will be building on the great work of my predecessor, Steve Hughes. It is an exciting, but challenging, time for all of us working in this area but I know that by working together, we can make great things happen. Our purpose is to provide a wonderful education and improve the life chances of all the children and young people in our Trust. We will ensure that our children and young people are given a broad and balanced education which prepares them well for success in their future lives. We provide strong challenge and support to our Academies and work together in our aim of ensuring success for all. As a Trust we truly value the success of every child and young person and we place the sharing of excellent education practice at the core of this value. Professional development, challenge and support are at the heart of ensuring our staff can all reach their own personal bests for the benefit of the children and young people. In our 30 years of service, we have delivered Careers Guidance support to over 100,000 people, delivered 40,000 accredited qualification, and offered enterprise support to 1,550 businesses. EBCF Ltd is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee established in 1992 by Her Magesty’s Government mandated by the Secretary of State to establish locally managed community capacity building provision via East Birmingham Taskforce (1988). The Company established three main areas of focus, these being, Jobs, Enterprise, and Training. The business operated under the JET Shop brand for many years in the heart of East Birmingham and during the last 10 years successfully branched out to other inner-city areas of Birmingham and regionwide to meet contractual obligations and strategic objectives. EBCF has delivered jobs, enterprise, and training related projects through Local, Central and European government funding, and including other philanthropic agencies. We are accredited with all leading exam boards and hold direct claim status (DCS) for many qualifications from entry level to Level 6 in various vocational areas. Our Careers Advisers are in-house trained and qualified to Level 4 and 6 with wealth of knowledge and experience to enable our customers to make a smooth transition from learning to work. Our 30 years of local in-community delivery enables us to have a qualified perspective on what will work and what will not when engaging local communities. Our success to date has been possible by investing in local communities, establishing partnerships with likeminded organisations, and levering resources of benefit to our beneficiaries.

Charity No. 1190741 xoball exists to promote amateur basketball as a means to meeting the needs of individuals, enhancing their lives using education and physical training to consequently improve the communities that they live in. It was seen that basketball could do this for a number of reasons; these are illustrated in an All Party Parliamentary Group report into basketball in 2014, which states that “…there is no more efficient sporting vehicle than basketball to improve outcomes for individuals and communities…”. (link) xoball realises that building competitive basketball teams, and consequently trying to win games, is something that will encourage some of the new joiners to remain in the sport, and provide part of the base on which we grow the game, wherever we operate. However, xoball recognises that today’s society is increasingly complex. People’s liberties and development can be compromised by anxiety, isolation or the sheer amount of choices available to them. These can often be exacerbated by pressures such as social media, or the time and financial limitations on those who traditionally provided guidance. Coordinated, sustainable group activities are an effective tool to help individuals to cope with the demands of modern life. Therefore: continued participation will always take priority over winning matches. xoball takes pride in it’s values. The association will remain: transparent – make details of our activities available to our members, wherever it is not unreasonable to do so; dynamic – change our processes and structure if it will proportionately benefit the purposes of the association; outward looking – be highly hospitable to all those involved in the sport, and further our objectives by actively developing opportunities that become apparent, wherever and whenever that may be.
