We have been in partnership with Whitstable Town FC since 2016. We currently operate our Whitstable Town FC Academy under the clubs name to allow clear pathways to progress into the mens reserves and the clubs first team. We hold our education at the club in our brand new classroom and host all our home games for the academy at the stadium. We work closely with the club, providing them with an U7 team each season, from our Saturday Development sessions. We support the coaches on training nights to ensure the coaches are improving and that the quality of session delivery is being improved, so to develop each individual within the club. Our partnership is going from strength to strength with the academy numbers growing. Our academy is one one of the biggest in Kent and is fast becoming well established in the country.

Mental WealthThe Mental Wealth Project is a mental health literacy education programme for young people. The aim is to equip young people and their families with knowledge, tools and skills to reduce stigma, improve wellbeing, spot warning signs of mental distress, and enhance access to the right care and support when they need it. Le Va delivers tailored face-to-face workshops in secondary schools, sports-clubs, churches and other community settings. This Mental Wealth website was designed to complement these workshops. Because the online world is a significant community for young people, The Mental Wealth Project also includes social media and gaming as important things that can impact on mental health and wellbeing. The team at Le Va co-designed and tested the programme over 2 years (2017-2018) with young people, Pasifika and Māori rangatahi, parents, teachers, secondary schools, rugby league clubs, sports coaches, clinicians, mental health organisations, gamers, suicide prevention specialists and cultural knowledge holders. About Baby Lifeline Baby Lifeline is a unique national charity which promotes the safe care of pregnant women and newborn babies all over the UK and worldwide. It does this by supporting and working with NHS professionals – buying equipment, developing and providing critical training, and conducting research. Recognised as one of the UK’s leading mother and newborn baby charities Baby Lifeline was founded nearly forty years ago by Judy Ledger, after the tragic loss of her first three babies – sadly born too small to survive. As a registered nurse, Judy recognised that this was only possible by supporting those who care for them with training, equipment, and knowledge through research. The charity has attracted the support of leading figures from the health service who sit on the charity’s advisory panel and A-list celebrities who fulfil the roles of Patrons – all united in their shared goal of making maternity care in the UK as safe as possible.
