BIBS is the Bible School of Bethel United Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic UK & Europe. The Church, which is the Body of Christ, must know the beliefs, principles, teachings and practices of the Apostles: hence Jesus gave specific ministry gifts to some: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers: To edify the Saints in the Doctrines of Christ, thereby uniting His Church; to build up the Body of Christ by bringing the Saints to spiritual maturity; and to prepare them for the work of the Ministry. BIBS Bible School was planted by God and endowed with God- given anointed Teachers for these very purposes. Students are methodically taught God’s Word of Truth; how to gird up the loins of their minds; and how to use God’s Word, the Sword of the Spirit and their only offensive weapon, to defeat the enemy and earnestly contend for the Doctrine of Christ. The Holy Scriptures testify of Jesus; and knowing Him is Eternal Life. I hope you will find it interesting and will find the information you are looking for. ‘A seminary is more than a building, it is a community of formation.’ That is the starting point for the Catholic Church’s understanding of seminaries. St Mary’s College has existed as a formation community for 226 years. It has been in its present location for the last 182 of those years. Formation takes place here in many different ways: but for the sake of convenience we divide those ways into four main strands. They are pastoral, spiritual human and intellectual. You can read about each of those areas by clicking here if you would like to know more. Even though we are much more than a building we are very proud of the buildings the seminary inhabits. You will see many photographs of them on the website and you will also find various ways that you could visit us. You would be very welcome. We are also proud of our seminarians and our permanent deacons in formation. You can read about their experiences on the website, as well as their hopes for the future ministries they will have in the Church in the different dioceses and religious congregations who choose to use us to help form their future deacons and priests.

At ilmburst, we are very excited about launching this project. Excited, because we are passionate about nurturing our children from a young age, nurturing in them a love for their religion and nurturing their spiritual development. The idea for ilmburst began when we found that many of us as parents don’t have the confidence to teach our children their religion. This is due to a variety of reasons. Some of us feel we don’t have the knowledge and ability, others among us don’t have the time to research and prepare the material needed to teach our children and yet others are afraid that they may teach something incorrectly or use inauthentic material. We aim to help change that, in sha Allah. We should all be able to help teach our children in an engaging and fun way. What better way to bond with your children than doing something which is pleasing to Allah? Using the individual skills and talents of our team we have brought together people qualified in Islamic studies, education and teaching experience to create a wide variety of resources across a wide breadth of subjects, which are then designed using professional design software to ensure high quality. Our vision is to help nurture a generation of Muslims who are proud and confident of their Islam, and who then use this confidence to excel academically, into their chosen career paths and be role models within their communities. We ask Allah, the Most High, to grant us all success as parents and teachers, and that He blesses our children and makes them a source of happiness and joy for us in this world and the next.
