We offer the highest grade of musical education, from teaching staff who are not only talented musicians in their own right, but also trained to teach, regularly monitored and who undergo ongoing professional development training at Yamaha HQ. We provide each student with a one hour, group lesson on the instrument of choice, once per week for 44 weeks of the year, or provide students learning individually with a half hour lesson, once per week/fortnight for 44/22 weeks of the year. We ensure that all our staff have enhanced DBS (CRB) clearance. Certification is available to view outside our studios. We offer an optional, accredited examination syllabus, with examinations taking place on site 2/3 times per annum. We facilitate learning with state of the art instruments in clean, comfortable, designated studios. We encourage every student with merits for practice and Certificates and Prizes for collecting merits. We offer a clean, comfortable waiting room for students and parents alike. We offer eight weeks holiday every year and display a full school calendar on our website, as well as in school. We provide, by email, lesson notes to any student who is unable to attend his/her usual class, for whatever reason. We have built an amazing resource for our students using an online learning portal. This means that if you were to miss a lesson it will be available to watch and practice with on catch-up as we stream every single lesson (live) to the portal. That means you can practice all year round and should you be unable to make it to the school for the time of your lesson, you can simply dial in from home!

The Institute of Professional Will Writers is a not-for-profit self-regulatory organisation, attracting members from a range of areas including private practice and financial services, as well as solicitors, barristers and accountants. Sole member firms through to large national companies have chosen to join our organisation, having seen the benefits that members have to offer. Owned by its members and run by its members, the IPW is a democratic organisation, prioritising its members and their clients. Every member has a voice. We have a simple set of standards and objectives: Consumer protection is central to all that we do, and we have been at the forefront of the regulation debate over the years. We are pro-regulation and we work directly with such organisations as the Legal Services Board, the Competition and Markets Authority, the Office of the Public Guardian and the Chartered Trading Standards Institute to raise and enforce standards within our sector. All of our members operate in the IPW self-regulatory environment, through a Code of Practice which is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute. The IPW has been in existence for more than 25 years, and it has been the natural home for those practitioners wanting to demonstrate and increase their expertise in Wills, Estate Planning and Probate to their clients. Teaching has always been Lian’s passion. At the age of 18 Lian started teaching dance which developed into establishing her own highly successful dance school Learning Curves Dance which she ran for 20 years. Lian has had numerous highlights during her teaching career from choreographing team performances at London theatres including Her Majesty’s Theatre, Sadler’s Wells and The Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham performance venues such as the NEC and the Symphony Hall. She has also travelled with her students overseas to Europe and Asia performing at Disneyland Paris and Beijing Theatre, China. Lian has trained over 500 students for team performances, prepared over 3000 students for 32 IDTA examination sessions and received Freestyle Scholarship Awards nominations for 5 professional candidates and 18 amateur students. She has judged at numerous ADFP Freestyle Dance Competitions, including the prestigious international Disco Kid Competition at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Lian was honoured to lecture for the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association), hosting amateur and professional workshops. She has produced, directed and choreographed over 16 theatre shows, raised over £10,000 for charity, formed the successful Performing Arts Project with sister school StarStruck Performing Arts Academy, taught GCSE dance at Arden School, cultivated successful relationships and taught classes in over 16 Primary and Secondary Schools in Solihull and Warwickshire and launched a second Dance School in Southam, Warwickshire. After further professional development and with a keen interest in anatomy and physiology, Lian qualified to train candidates to professional teacher level. To date she has trained 26 individuals to professional dance teacher status, 5 of whom have received IDTA Scholarship nominations and 1 student who has gained the 2020 John Dilworth Scholarship in the Freestyle category. Now Lian has added yoga to her long list of qualifications and is a Yoga Alliance Professional 250 hour qualified Teacher. Lian enjoys teaching Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. Lian successfully teaches online and face to face classes. Yoga and dance complement each other beautifully and through her training Lian can bring elements of each discipline to enhance her teaching.

The practical day covers a wide range of CSI techniques with "hands-on" practical training. On completion awards an OCN Nationally Recognised and Accredited Certificate in Forensic Science. This course is additionally CPD Accredited and also awards 21 CPD points on completion.   PART 1 - THEORY Complete this part of your course online (eLearning Course) in the comfort of your own home or workplace. Please allow approx. 6-8 hours to complete the elearning modules. You do not need to complete Part 1 in one single "sitting” and can log on/off as many times as you wish and when convenient to you.
