We believe that having fun is the key to learning things and remembering them. We have adapted all of our classes to an online format where we still use theatre games and playfulness to practice a new language in a fun and memorable way. In our online classes, you will work with other students to create theatre scenes. You'll get to plan and prepare in breakout rooms and then perform the scenes to the group. Sometimes you'll work from a script, and mostly you'll improvise your own (don't worry, we know you're not exactly fluent yet). You'll work on your grammar and build your vocabulary, as well as improving your confidence....and your screen presence for your next video conference.

I am Janette Simpson, based in Teddington, a primary school teacher for over 30 years and a successful tutor for over 20 of those. I have three children and have worked in a number of different schools in three London boroughs, including Richmond. I support families to help them choose the right school for their children. More About Janette I offer tutoring for 11+ entrance exams as well as booster lessons to support school learning in mathematics and English. The 11+ teaching is geared towards entrance exams of all major selective schools. For September 2021 entry, tutees achieved 100% success in gaining a place at an independent school of choice.

Network of Eritrean Women-UK (NEW-UK) is the only specialist organization in the UK supporting the needs of Eritrean women. NEW-UK is a women's non-profit organization set up to support Eritrean women. Our aim is to facilitate the tools for Eritrean women to assert their human rights and pursue personal empowerment, development and social change. We are a holistic organization and provide cultural and linguistic specialist advice, information, advocacy, workshops and wellbeing drop targeted to support Eritrean women. NEW-UK launched in 2014 following the critical need for a UK-wide support network to mobilize information and resources for Eritrean women, many of whom have fled the brutal dictatorship in Eritrea and forced conscription. We support many Eritrean refugee and asylum-seeking women who have endured a significant amount of trauma and many of whom are suffering in silence.
