An Egyptian/British Physiotherapy clinician and Academic based in the UK, He moved to the UK in 2004 and started his Academic Career as a Senior lecturer in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) Where he was leading the Musculoskeletal module within the post graduate program, he works occasionally as clinical specialist with National Health Service and runs private clinics in Sheffield and London, fellow of the higher education academy-UK, certified McKenzie Therapist-UK and international manual therapy tutor. Between 2006 to 2011 Primephysio collaborated with McKenzie Institute International, International Bobath Tutor Training Association, Orthopaedic Medicine Belgium, British Bobath tutors association , Mulligan tutors association to run many training courses in Cairo - Egypt and Amman-Jordan and Sheffield.UK.This was stage one. Stage 2 started in 2011. We wanted to send a clear message, it is not about single concept or approach it is about a logically balanced and blended approach where all concepts are considered for the right patient on the right time. Many experienced clinicians and Academic mainly from the UK , most of them were SHU senior teaching staff, were part of this Journey. The church has a rich history upon which we are building for future generations. The church building, formerly known as St. Michael’s, was built around 1900 and was the chapel to a girl’s reformatory school. During the 1930s, many families in Leamington Spa were becoming Christians, and so a Pentecostal movement bought the building, using it for regular church services. The church, now called Life Community Church, became part of a network of Pentecostal churches called the AoG (Assemblies of God), which is made up of around 600 churches in Great Britain, and is the sixth largest denomination worldwide. In 2012, there was a leadership transition and David and Leanne Bolton felt the call of God to lead the church and start an exciting journey of repurposing it. Their dream today, like those in the past, is to see many more families in Leamington Spa and across the globe, coming to faith in Jesus. Today, we are a growing, life-giving church for all ages and backgrounds, and God is drawing people to us from all nationalities. LCC exists to help people grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Back in early 2013, on the coast in North Devon the idea for Moo Music was born. Musician and entrepreneur Ant Parker, and his wife Jess with their two very young girls, were getting tired of the usual nursery rhymes going round and round in their heads. Both had a passion for music and a wish to teach their children about everything that comes with daily life and beyond; eating healthily, making friends, feelings, the wider world, keeping fit … and all most importantly through MUSIC, FUN and PLAY! At the same time Ant’s sister Ali, who loves to sing and has worked as a nanny, was looking for a flexible and affordable business that allowed her more time with her own small family. She asked Ant to have a look at a few other music franchises (with his entrepreneur hat on) but he soon realised that you got very little original content, were bound by many rules, and paid an extortionate amount for the privilege. This got Ant thinking – one of his best friends is a songwriter who has a very special ability in writing fantastic children’s songs that adults can enjoy too. Another friend is an artist who has illustrated many TV classics such as Bod and Pigeon Street. So Ant thought “why not commission the songwriter to write some songs, the artist to design some characters, Ali to use the combination to start her own business and then once established, licence the material to others. The rest, as they say, is history! Ali started trialling the sessions towards the end of 2013 and we launched as a licensed business opportunity in April 2014. In the first year there were just short of 100 licensees covering much of the UK. Over the next few years the remaining viable areas of the UK were covered, existing licensees expanded into larger areas and we now have 176 licensees covering 1433 postcode districts across the majority of the UK. The master licence for Australia sold in 2016, The Republic of Ireland in 2019, Korea in 2020 and the United States in 2021.

Hello and Welcome to my site, I’d like to tell you about myself and my history within the Driver Training Industry as I believe this is vital to know when choosing an Instructor. My name is Gary Phillips and I have been an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) since 1991 when I was working with BSM from their Wigan branch, having established myself as their number one Learner Driver Instructor I Quickly progressed to become a Fleet Trainer and Instructor Trainer, my reputation as an effective Instructor Trainer was soon established and I was covering a large area including Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Leeds. In 1998 I won BSM’s National Competition “Instructor of the Year.” Soon afterwards I was “Head Hunted” by another National Instructor Training company to become their National Training Officer for the North of England covering an area between Birmingham and Newcastle where I was in charge of Training the regional Trainers and Quality Control of Instructor Training sessions, I also devised and wrote a new training system which became very successful. Unfortunately this company went into Liquidation and so I decided to use the vast knowledge and experience I had gained to offer my services to Learner Drivers who were serious about wanting to learn to drive to a high standard in a short time by taking an Intensive Course and Trainee Instructors who had the motivation to qualify as an ADI, the ambition to gain a better Grade in their Check Test or advance their career and become an Instructor Trainer. As mentioned earlier, Kagoshima area has a lot of myths as the place where Japanese gods (They are enshrined by Japanese Shinto shrines) descended to the peak of the Kirishima Mountain. The remains of people's livelihood as old as 13,000 years ago have also been found in many places in the area, due to its mild climate. Many foreign civilizations have been introduced through Kagoshima, southern front gate of Japan in its long history. Kagoshima used to be an area with exotic atmospheres, indicated by the name of places such as Soo, Ei and Tokara, those of which must be foreign origins. One of the examples of foreign civilizations can be Buddhism from China. The famous monk (Ganjin (668~763) who provided a great influence on Japanese Buddhism) landed at the southwest coast of Kagoshima where were favored with natural ports. Both Christianity (by Francisco de Xavier (1506~1552: Portuguese) and western gun have firstly brought to Japan in 16th century through Kagoshima. Due to the reason that the land of Kagoshima is mainly composed of volcanic ashes, and is not appropriate area for the rice production that was the base of Japanese economy, loads of Feudalism, Satsuma clan, had to find other source of income for their development. Major economic activities instead of rice production was foreign trade by smuggling under the circumstance that central feudal government (Tokugawa Shogunate: 1603~18674) prohibited (locked countries policy) to communicate with foreign countries except limited foreign trade through Nagasaki. Such informal communication with foreign countries was the base for Satsuma's modernization including introduction of modern military system and equipment in the end period of Tokugawa Shogunate. Such special situation of Satsuma clan compared with other clans in Japan made them together with Choushu (Clan corresponding to the current Yamaguchi Prefecture) lead the Meiji Restoration to change from being a feudal society to having a capitalist economy and left the Japanese with a lingering Western influence. As shown above, Kagoshima, Satsuma area is characterized as an area where have been actively communicated with foreign countries in Japan.

The idea for Birmingham Egyptology arose in 2003 following the graduation of a class of MA Egyptology students eager to maintain their social network. In the following years members met socially and, on occasions, joined together for field trips and enjoyed involvement in research projects and, as a result, several of the original members of the group are still in regular contact. The group newsletter was first published in 2006 and circulation was extended to other interested groups and societies within the discipline. With the addition of new members through the various postgraduate programmes at Birmingham numbers have gradually increased until, by 2011 it was felt that we had sufficient strength in depth to host the CRE conference. That event took place in March 2012, its apparent success inspiring our most recent development: the formation of the Birmingham Egyptology Forum. The Forum brings current postgraduates together with alumni, other students and academics associated with University of Birmingham, and members of the public to work on a variety of projects. Regular seminars are held within the University to discuss matters of mutual interest. Other activities continue the work relating to the Eton Myers collection of objects currently on loan to the University following on from the initial catalogue of essays published on the University web site in June 2012. A summary of Birmingham Egyptology activities are presented on this web site to engage the interest of all persons interested in the topics raised, and updates will be made from time to time as opportunity allows. Items of the type formally published in the newsletter will now appear on the blog section whereas those of a more academic nature will appear in the journal section. The Birmingham Egyptology Journal, ISSN 2053-3586, is a peer-reviewed publication, available free of charge, which provides a platform for the presentation of scholarly articles relating to the culture, history, and archaeology of ancient Egypt and to which Birmingham Egyptology invite contributions from outside sources. Those interested in submitting articles may wish to consult the guidelines for contributors outlined in the ‘Journal’ section. marjorie wise school of dance

A history of the school… Marjorie Eileen Wise – a Christmas Day baby! As with lots of little girls, Marjorie Wise wanted to go to ballet lessons, and her parents, Harry & Grace decided at age 6, she could go to Leicester ballet teacher, Queenie Green and enjoy a few ballet lessons. Marjorie’s parents were unaware of the talent that their daughter had! Marjorie enjoyed her ballet lessons and took her Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) exams one by one until by the age of 17, she had passed her Advanced Exam and had begun to achieve the relevant teaching qualifications to be able to teach RAD ballet and enter children for exams. Just before her 18th birthday, she decided to open her own school and thus Marjorie Wise School of Dancing (MWSD) was born. Harry & Grace Wise were keen to assist their daughter with this venture and moved from the family home in Aylestone to a house on Saxby Street, Leicester, because it had a dance studio in the basement. This was converted into a ballet studio with bespoke mirrors, barres and floor. Marjorie Wise became a household name in Leicester and the school thrived. Marjorie herself continued with her own ballet study and soon expanded into International Dance Teacher’s Association (IDTA) tap and theatre craft study. Marjorie travelled weekly to be taught by Sissie Smith in Nottingham and furthered her knowledge of ballet. Soon, Saxby Street was too small for the expanding school and Marjorie started hiring local halls to teach in. Her cousin, an excellent pianist, accompanied the classes on the piano and her parents dealt with the admin of running the school. In the 1960’s, a young girl called Yvonne Saunders, joined the school for her lessons, as she wanted a classical RAD ballet school for her training. Yvonne was a very talented dancer and Marjorie quickly recognised an outstanding talent in this pupil. She was not wrong, as Yvonne went on to be the lead dancer with the Royal Ballet, partnering the likes of Rudolf Nureyev and dancing solos with the Company all over the world. Yvonne continued to keep in touch with Marjorie on a regular basis.
