We are a newly formed Edinburgh baseball community club open to all over-16s and adults who are interested in the sport. You can join us regardless of gender or your level of experience in baseball. Our practice sessions are free and atmosphere always welcoming. Winter training is NOW on Sundays. Please get in touch if you are interested in joining us. Players are the most important people in the sport. Playing for the team, and for the team to win, is the most fundamental part of the game. But not winning at any cost. Fair play and respect for all others in the game are also fundamentally important. Players should be aware of their obligations towards training and the game. A player should: ⚾ Make every effort to develop their own sporting abilities, in terms of skill, technique, tactics and stamina. ⚾ Set a positive example for others, particularly younger players and supporters. ⚾ Avoid all forms of gamesmanship and timewasting. ⚾ Know, respect and abide by the laws of the game and competition rules. ⚾ Accept success and failure, victory and defeat, equally. ⚾ Treat other members of the club and opponents with due respect at all times, irrespective of the result of the game, safeguard the physical fitness, avoid violence and rough play, and help injured teammates or opponents. ⚾ Show respect towards match officials, team officials (including opposition team officials) and supporters. ⚾ Abide by the instructions of their coach and team officials, provided they do not contradict the spirit of this code. ⚾ Give maximum effort and strive for the best possible performance during a game, even if his team is in a position where the desired result has already been achieved. ⚾ Be aware of their obligations to their own team and make every effort consistent with fair play, sportsmanship and the laws of the game to help his own team win. ⚾ Not use inappropriate language. ⚾ Resist any temptation to take banned substances or use banned techniques. ⚾ Refrain from using any discriminatory language of any kind. We bring hoop to your events and parties, whether it be a hen party, or a black tie event. RoRo is a performer and a qualified teacher who has over 10 years teaching practise and a whole load of hoop experience. Originally self-taught, she now teaches at schools, circus schools, and conventions, as well as running weekly classes, and workshops. We travel often and have teachers all over the UK so no gig, workshop or class is too big or too small. We have esteemed performers nationwide who can provide entertainment and workshops for large-scale events with specialisms in hula hoop, fire, LED and aerial. Our School of Circus sessions provide workshop packages and sessions with an attention on being different from the norm, we have circus, dance, and a whole lot more. Many young people do not experience any aspect of circus as prop for performance or as a physical activity and it is our intention to address this whilst offering something different to the conventional norm. As a performer we show case single and multi hoop tricks, blending circus, dance, and a whole load of pizazz. These can be done according to theme, with other performers (hoop or other), or with LED. Party packages (popular for hen & birthday parties) give you the opportunity to learn and see some impressive stuff, where guests can be entertained, whilst learning and having fun. If you are looking for a new hobby, or are wanting to get serious in the world of hoop, you have come to the right place. It’s fitness, it’s circus, it’s dance, and so much more. Moreover, it is something you can practice pretty much anywhere. All you need is a hoop, a sprinkle of determination, and some space. All classes and workshops are taught by trained professionals, in a supportive and structured environment. We can teach online or in person. Our takeaway classes (filmed during teaching in Covid-19) are available for you to purchase, download, and keep. Hartlepool

The central arch leads into what was formerly the Market Hall. In 1926 it was converted into a Council Chamber for Hartlepool and a dance hall with a capacity for 2,000 people. Over the next almost 100 years it has little in terms of its design but greatly in terms of its function currently being an entertainment venue with meeting rooms, offices, a library and a wedding venue. The main auditorium has a capacity of 1,200 and has lift access from the entrance. The building has a separate bar, Constables Bar, accessible from the main street that can be accessible to the main auditorium at events; there is also a temporary bar on the ground floor and a well maintained kitchen. The cellar lies in the basement of Constables Bar and is not accessible directly from the main auditorium. There are male, female and accessible toilets on the ground floor, in the auditorium and in the main bar. The balcony is accessible from the East and West areas of the main auditorium. On the first floor of the South-East wing of the Borough Hall boasts a Mayor’s Parlour and Mayors Chamber that has a 100 capacity. Moving towards the South-West of the first floor the building accumulates a core of smaller rooms that are not in use or for small meetings/storage areas. There is also a large room, Sandwellgate Room, which is a meeting room and Middlegate Room, which provides registrars wedding services.

Bath Sword Club, established in 1948 has been a part of the local community for the last 70 years. The club encourages fencers of all abilities and ambitions, and prides itself on its inclusive and friendly atmosphere. We enjoy fencing and promoting all 3 weapons and have a senior club member as a mentor in each weapon to help new members participate in club nights and competitions as they like. Coaching is provided by professional, qualified coaches. Bath Sword Club is a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) run by a Committee of volunteers. We employ highly qualified professional coaches catering for all levels, from beginners to potential Olympians and from juniors beginning their journey in fencing to veteran fencers (some of whom are also beginning their journey into fencing!). Our youngest member is 8 and our oldest member still regularly competing is in his 70s. Our club members have a wide range of ability, from those just beginning fencing to those competing at international and world championship level. All are welcome and catered for, fencing is a fantastic sport to engage children and adults alike. Our motto is LEARN, TRAIN, COMPETE – FENCE The club has a tradition of hosting innovative events for the fencing community – the popular Excalibur competition – an annual inter -county competition. Hosting BYC events and this this year introducing a junior Excalibur competition the UK’s only inter-county competition for juniors.
