Our Time supports children who have a parent with a mental illness.  For many young people, growing up with a parent struggling with their mental health can be a difficult and overwhelming experience. It is often isolating, confusing – even frightening. It can bring with it immense responsibility, and also stigma. But with the right support and understanding these young people can go on to lead happy and fulfilling lives – just like any other child. This is our ambition. Many of the adults that come into contact with children who have a parent with a mental illness do not know how to help and sometimes don’t recognise the need. We make sure professionals – whether in schools, the health service or the community –  have the best skills and knowledge to help these young people thrive through awareness-raising, training and CPD.

Online learning Courses are now seen as the ideal way of learning a new subject. Whether you are studying for a career, a promotion or purely a general interest, distance learning fits nicely to even the busiest routines. The process of online learning could not be simpler. Most courses contain a series of assignments to test your knowledge. This gives our tutors the opportunity to assess your progress step by step. All assignments will be graded, and a report is issued containing any suggestions for improvement as and when required. WHY CHOOSE ONLINE LEARNING COURSES FROM UK OPEN COLLEGE? Many students who have expressed an interest in learning through their local college found the constraints and starting dates difficult to manage. Policies and Procedures are scrutinised by our auditors Jelf Risk Management, and provide our Health & Safety Management services. Our Youth Staff on an evening carry current DBS checks, safe guarding training, first aid and fire marshal competence. All staff receive personal health and safety booklets annually for which they sign for as read, and risk assessments as well as operational standard procedures are undertaken for activities and basic duties reviewed by the internal IOSH trained Managing Safely Officer and externally by Jelf Risk Management. Accident forms and incident forms are completed for all those reported on site and held accordingly. Health & Safety and Environmental statements are reviewed annually and are on display to the centre’s users. Club polices including; safe guarding and child protection, harassment, grievance, bullying, drugs and alcohol are held on site and reviewed/managed by our Welfare Officer. Club rules and procedures, including GDPR privacy notices are written on membership forms and displayed in all prominent areas of the centre.CCTV surveillance on site supports the security of the building, its staff, volunteers and users/members. Any concerns in relation to the use of Richmond Park, including anti-social behaviour, drugs and alcohol use (adjacent to our Club) should be reported to the local authorities (Police and Council). Hinckley Club For Young People have no authority or responsibility in events that take place outside of its perimeter.

The Vicky Grant School of Dance is a Cambridgeshire based dance school offering excellent training to students aged three years and above. We offer a wide range of styles, so whether your child is interested in working towards exams, or just dancing for fun, we have classes for all. Whether you are thinking of switching to a rebreather, looking for an advanced trimix course or just want to take advantage of the increased bottom times and increased safety of Nitrox diving then we have the course for you. We aim to provide the highest level of technical diving training. All courses are run by our resident Technical Instructor Mark Powell. Our standards are high and you know that when you are awarded your certification you can be sure you have earned it. We teach the full range of TDI courses up to Advanced Trimix Instructor which means that we can choose the best course to suit your needs. Courses include basic nitrox, advanced nitrox, decompression procedures and trimix. We also teach specific technical diving specialties such as twinset famillarisation, advanced buoyancy, DPV, decompression theory, deep rescue, oxygen admin and first aid. We are based in Chepstow but can travel anywhere in the UK to arrange a course to suit your needs. We are happy to work with diving clubs or shops and run courses at your club/shop if required.

Now, more than ever we need to get out in nature, to connect with our natural environment and with each other to let the healing process begin. We have been helping people of all ages to find their wild since 2018 with past activities and events including after school clubs, home-schooling club and women’s bushcraft groups In 2021, we are over the moon to be working on new projects and building on our new partnerships to support mental health and well-being and we are working towards a project focussing on rewilding, conservation and stewardship in our community.
