We all know that the creative arts, messy play and giving children freedom to express themselves have huge benefits to their development. So, if you need an engaging way to keep your toddler entertained or an activity to stimulate your older child’s interest in the arts, then please give us a go! But at Little Willows its not just about the kids! We also have a huge amount of adults that love to come and paint too! You don't have to be artistic, all you need is some imagination and we have all the tools to bring your ideas to life. We have a huge range of bisque and coloured glazes for you to create your own master pieces and our relaxing environment allows you to simply time out from your busy schedule and enjoy yourself. At Little Willows we’re passionate about creating beautiful hand painted ceramics, wooden keepsake boxes and baby hand & foot prints (paw prints too!) that you can treasure forever. We love to hold workshops, clubs and camps too. As well as our wide range of events like pottery parties, adult evenings and drop in sessions too! HomeAbout What happens when you pit a lifelong procrastinator against the biggest test of his life? Trouble. I’m Miles, a recent graduate from the MOT program at the University of Utah. Being a podcast junkie myself, when I was studying for the NBCOT exam I wished there had been a podcast to help me make some progress when I was driving, at the gym, or just not feeling like banging my head against a computer screen. My goal with the podcast is to make the journey I had to take a little easier for other aspiring occupational therapists. Person I’m a huge nerd with a passion for basketball, sushi and OT. I’m always on the hunt for a good Netflix recommendations. My path to OT was a little strange. I worked in tech support during my undergrad and graduated in advertising, but not before taking the pre-reqs for OT school. I love the combination of creativity and purpose in our profession and consider myself lucky to have stumbled across it before I joined the ranks of [insert PT joke here]. Environment I was born and raised in Minnesota, lived in Japan for two years and am currently looking forward to having an actual income for Utah’s next ski season. Occupation I’m currently working at an inpatient acute rehab hospital and loving it. __________________ . __________________ That’s the gist of it. Our mission is to help people gain internationally respected professional qualifications in market and social research. As an MRS Accredited Centre, we are approved by the Market Research Society (MRS) to provide tuition for both the MRS Advanced Certificate and the MRS Diploma. We take an innovative approach to delivering the MRS Advanced Certificate and MRS Diploma syllabuses. We’ve analysed published studies and interviewed past MRS students to find out what exactly students want, and have used the findings to develop our own learning approach. We’ve harnessed this unique approach to the latest in distance learning technology, offering students an engaging online learning environment and live online tutorials. The Research Academy team has a deep understanding of what market research is and what it is used for. All of us currently work in market research, social research or both. Our clients range from government bodies and charities to Fortune 400 brands and communications agencies. Every one of us has been a university lecturer, a trainer or both – some of us for more than 20 years. We want to train good researchers, and we think participatory teaching and learning are the best ways to do this. This means lots of discussion and debate, lots of asking questions and sharing ideas, and plenty of feedback on written coursework and mock exam questions.
