The Mental Health Hub (TMHH) was created to serve as a companion to anyone beginning their mental health journey. At TMHH, we know how overwhelming it is to find help in the midst of mental illness. We offer clear and concise mental health information paired with easy-to-navigate resources to aid anyone through their mental health journey. We connect our audience to mental health resources, education, and services to expedite their recovery process. Whether it be learning about types of therapy and locating affordable sessions, understanding insurance coverage and obtaining discounted prescriptions, or even finding local support groups, TMHH aims to simplify this notoriously complicated process. OUR VISION Our initial aim is to create an interactive website providing both education on mental health treatments and direction to available resources in the community. Going forward, we plan to expand our offerings to include hosting mental health and wellness workshops, partnering with other organizations to reach a wider audience, encouraging exchange of ideas and experiences through our THMM blogsite, and providing visibility to local and nationwide mental health related businesses. Born in St.Ives in Cornwall in a flat on the Fore St, a stone's throw from the ocean, Daniel worked in theatre, film and TV for 10 years, most notably at the ground-breaking Citizens Theatre in Glasgow. In July 2002 he created Theatre of Wine with Jonathan Warren, David Simmonds and a lot of helpers. The name came about through the fusion of two loves - theatre and wine - embodied in antiquity in a single entity, the god Dionysus. The shops are a stage for our wines, and at our weekly tastings we let these characters interact and reveal their personalities. While the team has changed, the philosophy is the same: to give a stage to wines that have something interesting to say.

Independent Dance (ID) supports the development of dance through radical enquiry, learning, community-building and audience engagement. Based at Siobhan Davies Studios in London, ID is a research engine and ‘home’ organisation for a growing community of practitioners in the UK and around the world. It has been artist and female-led since 1984. Our public programme supports a wide range of accessible and interdisciplinary approaches to dance, somatics, improvisation and choreography. Co-designed with UK/ international artists and partner organisations, this far-reaching programme includes classes, talks, workshops, research, digital initiatives and festivals. ID also bridges higher education and professional spheres, leading on MA/MFA Creative Practice: Dance Professional in partnership with Trinity Laban and Siobhan Davies Studios. Our aim is to generate a diverse and dynamic ‘community of practice’ which is not limited to one place or location and to agitate for positive change and justice within ID, the arts and society. Independent Dance is proud to be part of an ongoing National Portfolio Organisation consortium led by Siobhan Davies Studios, supported using public funding by Arts Council England. Have you ever felt that wobble in your stomach, when you look at your bank account to see your salary has been paid but somehow there is still a minus sign in front of the numbers? Yeah, me too. When month after month, my account moved between positive and negative, because of choices that I had made to buy things that were not so important, I honestly felt like this was all that my financial life was going to look like. I didn’t know that this was the feeling that would be the pivot to my financial expertise and the birth of my company ‘Young Spender’. A company delivering coaching, and workshops designed to develop the financial education of young people. A choice was made to break the cycle. Within 4 months I had managed to clear a debt that had felt so overwhelming, and I had taught myself the habits and strategies needed to manage my money effectively. I stopped getting that wobbly feeling at the end of the month and there were no longer any minus signs in front of my cash. With my success at demolishing this debt following the strategies I had learnt, alongside the knowledge that I was gaining from my career in Finance and Accounting, I realised that more had to be done to support and educate young people like myself to stop making poor financial choices. School had educated us on how to get the job but not what to do with its reward.’
