UK China Performing Arts (UKCPA), was founded in London, England in 2017, is a dance academy which specialises in Chinese classical and folk-dance but also provides education for ISTD Ballet, Jazz, Hip-hop, K-pop and Ballroom dance both online and in the studio. As an international artistic exchange platform and performing arts company, we have strong relationships with artists and companies from different countries around the world. We have provided professional performance services and collaborations with theatres, media partners and event organisers such as Lebanon Caracalla Dance Theatre with the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation, Netflix on the high-profile production of The Crown. We have also successfully hosted events, such as exchanges to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Chinese Culture and Arts Festival, Silk road dance festival, masterclasses such as the Chinese Family Day, the Children’s Creative Dance Masterclass, and the Drama Workshop. We are an official UK subsidiary of CFA (Chinese Folk Dance Association), providing teacher and student training using the Chinese Folk Dance syllabus recognised by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China. We believe in giving opportunities to everyone who loves dance, with our professional training method that caters to all levels from absolute beginner to professional and also for all ages from 3 years old.

BRINGING OUT THE BEST IN CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS. OUR AIMS: For every child and teenager to understand that they are unique, gifted and can amazing things which can touch others’ lives positively. Support each child & teen; teach them how to rise above their challenges, be positive, live purposefully & aspire to excel in the areas of their passions. Create an exciting & friendly environment for them to flourish alongside their peers & friends towards being the best they can be. WHY? Emotions can move us to act or hinder us from doing so, hence the word: e-motion. Our aim is to remove emotional hindrances which hold back true potential in children & teenagers. At DreamBigKidz we are passionate about developing the emotional strengths that they need to aspire, achieve and excel. Our inspirational events include a range of activities to excite the passions and interests of children, while crucially teaching important areas of emotional intelligence, such as self esteem, resilience, handling anger and self confidence. We run single sessions as well as group sessions. In the latter, we provide fun activities to develop the students further at home, as well as optional parental / carer support. We want every child and teenage to complete the sessions with a big sense of achievement. Therefore a lot of energy goes into encouraging them with support, rewards, treats and other incentives. Renegade Theatre was founded in 2018 by Natasha Langridge as an umbrella to create and produce plays for, with and about her local community in North Kensington. Renegade's first project was In Memory of Leaves written and performed by Natasha; an uncompromising monologue that explores what happens to communities when they are moved from their homes. It is personal and bracing; a love note to neighbours and a revolutionary call to the world. In Memory of Leaves was first performed as a site specific piece outdoors on The Wornington Green Estate as part of the inTRANSIT Festival before moving to the Teatro Keiros (Rome). Natasha performed the piece as part of Portobello Live in 2018 and, with Arts Council funding, took it on a three week tour of London canals across Kensington/Camden/Hackney on the Fordham Gallery Barge. Renegade Theatre's current projects include The Wornington Word: A People's History of The Wornington Green Estate W10. The project will record and archive the history of the estates residents from the 1960's up to recent times with oral histories, photos and a documentary that will eventually be archived in Kensington Central and North Kensington Libraries as well as being entered into the 2020 Portobello Film Festival. The project will ultimately facilitate the residents in coming together, for the last time, to create a documented history of their lives on the estate before it is demolished and regenerated into the new Portobello Square development. Renegade Theatre runs a free Saturday drama club for local children, led by Natasha Langridge and Hannah Hutch who has performed at The National Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, The Old Vic and the BBC. The classes use a mix of drama and physical theatre games with techniques to promote fun, confidence and creativity. Over time we have created three plays, a Carnival Song, three films, a series of short films - the Golden Gifts Project - funded by the Kensington and Chelsea Foundation and The Story Stall, an onsite performance about the history of Golborne Market.
