If you’re looking to progress to become an IQA, the IQA Level 4 Award in Understanding Internal Quality Assurance (RQF) is designed to give you the foundational knowledge you need on the path to becoming an IQA.

Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance IQA qualification is previously known as V1 or Verifier award in the is a 12 credit and 90 guided learning hour. It does not only relate to the training industry, it can be quality assurance within any field and sector. If you have been looking after the quality of training or have been responsible for making sure employees work according to procedures and practice within your work place, you can transfer your experience and get qualified as an Internal Quality Assurer.

This qualification is intended for those who lead a team of IQA’s and maintain the quality of assessment from within an organisation or assessment centre. Learners undertaking this qualification will be able to understand the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment and internally assure the quality of assessment. They will be able to plan and prepare activities to monitor the quality assurance team and allocate work as required. Learners will achieve 17 credits across 3 units: Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment Internally assure the quality of assessment Plan, allocate and monitor work in own area of responsibility
