We offer a range of programmes, events and activities that encourage and improve the wellbeing of women who as keystones bolster the wider community around them. Ladies of Virtue Outreach is a growing community based organisation working with local women and girls, mostly from the BAME communities. Currently based and operating in, but not limited to, Southwark, London, where we have been working for over ten years. We provide access to care, support and services that will improve life quality, health and well being. We are local women from all over the world working with local women from all over the world, exchanging learning, knowledge and experience as we go, with particular focus on supporting women with mental health challenges, who are marginalised, wanting to build their skillset, or feel vulnerable or isolated. We collaborate with a number of statutory and community partners to strengthen our offer. We are a Community Interest Company (CIC), and have a focus on innovation and enterprise alongside our wellbeing initiatives to support and sustain our work, as we offer free and affordable services to those who would benefit. Enable seeks to address the question “what do people need in order to get back in the driving seat of their lives”? Enable exists to support, coach and mentor forward. Ultimately the journey and the choices remain that of an individual. We will help, however, to help identify skills, strategies and community to help someone fully engage with life. Each Journey is individual and the process starts from exactly where a person is. We take time to get to know our participants. Each six-module programme uses the same model; but crucially is individually tailored. With empathy we listen, and walk with, those on the programme though to a place of empowerment. The purpose of the programs was to move clients forward to a position where they had improved their lives and then and (hopefully) into work. Maree impressed me on many occasions with her ability to engage with clients who in the main had many challenges facing them. The large majority of these clients were lacking in motivation and self-belief and would lay out their issues (both real and perceived) before them whenever they were asked or expected to engage in anything. Maree was always very honest and truthful when discussing issues with clients however had a certain way with them which enabled Maree to engage with the clients in their current situation whilst having the skills to explore with the clients what their vision or goal was and then guiding them towards achieving this goal using small achievable steps. I can particularly remember Maree facilitating a small group of 6 extremely hard to help clients with multiple barriers that stopped them moving forward, one dropped out after the first day, the rest stayed for the whole programme and even requested to attend sessions with Maree after the course had closed, Maree continued to work with them and this resulted in all of the clients having moved forward in their lives (taken from evaluations at the time) and two actually gained meaningful employment."

Every year as we approach the year end, I like to take stock of where we are and write a letter to clients. This is in part to thank you for your much valued business, but also to tell you how things are going here at e-clinic and let you know a little of what we have planned for the coming year. I hope you’ve all had a good 2015 and are looking forward to taking some time out over the festive period. The feedback we’re getting from clients is that the market in most sectors has improved this year and that whilst there is some way to go, things are certainly easier than they have been in the last few years. 2015 has been a good year for e-clinic, with healthy increases in both revenue and profit. Indeed, it’s fair to say that our company is in the strongest position it has ever been. I tell you this as hopefully it gives you reassurance that, having been around for a long time already, we intend to be around for a very long time to come, and that can only happen if our business is stable and profitable. Most of the increased revenue has, of course, gone back into improving the business, rather than into my guitar collection! Our team has almost doubled in size over the last year, which has enabled me to focus much more on development than in previous years. It has also enabled us to reduce support response times significantly. Our performance is independently monitored by ZenDesk and currently we sit in the world’s top 4% of software companies who use ZenDesk in terms of support team performance. I think this is something we can be very proud of and I know many of you have taken the time to comment on the quality of service you receive from Robin and his team. They have worked very hard this year and I am, as always, very much indebted to them. The development team has continued to work away behind the scenes on ideas for the next version of e-clinic. We recently completed the work on Healthcode integration for insurance invoicing, along with a full integration with Xero Accounts. Currently Dillip is looking at ways to better implement email marketing from within e-clinic, including the reporting of outcomes such as emails opened and clicked through directly within the patient record. Hannah is doing some very exciting stuff with web and Facebook and Joe is beavering away on some interface improvements to bring us more in line with current trends and to improve our mobile options. The growing sales and marketing team also continues to improve client communications and we have a number of plans in this regard for next year, particularly in terms of improving our web site for mobile users. I’ll be spending a little more time than usual at home with my family (and my guitars) over Christmas, but for those of you who have to work over the holidays, we will be providing support during business hours as we always do (more details lower down). I’d like to finish by thanking you all for your business over the past year. Distance shot - school building (Small) The school has over 1200 students with a thriving Sixth Form of 180 students, all taught in a state of the art building. The innovative and unique design of the building creates a calm atmosphere, very different to that of many secondary schools. The school has a long tradition in the town being established in 1905. It met in the town hall until the first purpose-built school known as Pudsey and District Secondary and Technical School was opened in 1911. The school subsequently became known as Pudsey Grammar School. Although the school is taught in a state of the art building, our core values are highly traditional based on the goal of ensuring that every student reaches their true potential. Our school is not just about the students gaining knowledge and qualifications although these are extremely important. We believe in teaching young people core values of decency, social skills and how to be a good citizen in an ever changing world. We want their character to develop and grow and for them to leave us with an inquiring and independent mind. We want our students to gain the best qualifications they are capable of whilst experiencing a range of opportunities which are second to none. As a result, the school is extremely popular with our community and is significantly over-subscribed every year. Our Sixth Form has grown in recent years and we now have 180 post-16 students studying at Pudsey Grammar. This allows us to run a range of courses and provides our staff with valuable experience teaching subjects at this level. Our staff are exceptional in their dedication and commitment to the students. Relationships in the school are extremely strong and this underpins the ethos of the school. We have an excellent pastoral system with a team of dedicated staff who provide support to our students in a number of ways. We have Form Time every morning. This provides every student with a teacher who can support them every single day. In addition to this we have a non-teaching Year Leader for each year group who works closely with students, parents and staff to provide further support and guidance. Teaching and learning is the key focus of the organisation and everything that we do is designed to ensure that the classroom experience for the students is excellent. We pride ourselves in the fantastic support and professional development that we offer to staff which ensures that they are equipped with all the necessary skills to deliver excellent lessons to the students on a daily basis. We have an excellent record in preparing our students with the necessary skills to allow them to go on to their chosen career paths. We have well established links with universities and encourage students from an early age to consider going to university. We also hold information evening for parents regarding the benefits of sending a young person to university if it is the right path for them. As direct result of this is that we sent 24% of our Year 13 students to the prestigious Russell Group of universities. We also have strong links with local colleges and employers which ensures that our students are extremely well prepared for their chosen career paths when they leave. The school is also a Foundation Trust school and our partners include global companies such as HSBC bank, the IT company RM, Warwick University which is member of the Russell Group of UK universities, alongside leading local business and training providers Appris and the Place group. The school has already felt the benefit of these links with many staff completing MAs through Warwick University. We will be further developing the work of the Trust over the next year so that more staff and students experience the benefits of these excellent links.
