Our D1 courses are for anyone without D1 on their license or for those that need to remove the (101) restriction. The MiDAS ( Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) Inductions and PATS Training (Passenger Assistants Training Scheme) programs are the nationally recognized standards throughout the UK and can be run at your own premises. These courses are suitable for all, especially school teachers, college staff and care home staff. Currently, you may not have to complete a D1 qualification if in one of these voluntary driving roles, in which case the MiDAS training is seen as a minimum requirement in most sectors. The Motor Vehicles Regulations 1999 allows the driving of minibuses under clearly defined conditions by drivers who hold a category B entitlement but have not passed a D1 (Minibus) driving test. Those conditions include the following: The driver has held a category B driving license for at least 2 years A non-commercial body is using this minibus being driven for social purposes The driver provides his services and receives no consideration for doing so, other than out of pocket expenses The weight of the minibus does not exceed 3.5tonnes or 4.25tonnes if accessible. The Cambridge Information and Intellectual Property Meeting (CIIPM) was founded by Jane List of Extract Information and Stuart Newbold of Patent Search & Information Management in 2015. CIIPM hosts an ‘annual’ meeting and provides training in IP matters and patent information search and analysis. The CIIPM meeting provides an opportunity for knowledge sharing for those engaged with the commercialisation of technologies using intellectual property, and those needing information to make legal and commercial decisions. The annual meeting offers an afternoon of talks, workshops, and discussions, a small exhibition, networking opportunities, and has hosted a post graduate student poster competition. CIIPM also provides unique training courses blending theory and practice in IP Matters, IP Commercialisation, and Patent Searching for Legal and Commercial Insights. Training courses take place throughout the year virtually and at venues in Cambridge, UK, or by arrangement at your office or other location. Following the March 2022 meeting CIIPM have established a programme committee to help us maintain the strong programme and networking. We are very pleased that Claudia Duffy, Innovare IP, Isla Furlong, Director of Intellectual Property, PetMedix Ltd. Established in 2015 by Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service, Norfolk Safety CIC aims to Improve Safety and Reduce Risk by raising awareness and confidence through the delivery of practical based safety training across Norfolk. Practical – Implementable – Accessible – Relevant – Confidence Building Our courses are taught in a way that means the skills acquired are easily embedded in your daily life, helping course attendees feel safer and gain the confidence and understanding required to protect themselves and others. “97.8% of course delegates would now take an active role to improve safety at work.” Norfolk Safety CIC has delivered training to over 11,000 people across the County and beyond. Carrie was soon recognised for her new business and was nomimated for 'Best New Comer' and 'Young Entrepreneur' Women in Business Awards 2015 in Liverpool. Since then, Carrie has built a strong team of like-minded singing teachers and specialists around her to successfully provide the wide-array of Pro Vox singing students with the best training and opportunities possible. Pro Vox is known for students high levels of attainment in LCM Exams sessions, fantastic annual student performance showcases, recording and audition opportunities and more. Carrie has an incredible depth of knowledge from her on-going academic studies in voice science (working towards a Doctorate) and an impressive drive to educate both her teaching staff and students with up to date vocal training practices appropriate to each of them. Boundary Arts Centre is a Dance, Musical Theatre and Acrobatics Arts school based in Ashton Under Lyne. Providing classes from age 2 to Adults in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Commercial, Contemporary, Progressive Ballet Technique, Acrobatics Arts and Alixa Flexibility.We also provide private Music, Singing, Drama and Dance lessons. All of our classes are held at our BAC studios in Ashton and whilst you wait, you can take a seat in our cafe, have a bite to eat and enjoy a hot cup of coffee. (covid permitting) Boundary Arts Centre was established in April 2012 by Director, professional dancer and teacher Siobhan Pownall. We began in a small local studio in Audenshaw with only a couple of students in the class. The school expanded so much after a short few months that we moved into a slightly bigger premises and also opened up another venue in Ashton. In 2014 we had three different sites in Tameside until we decided to combine them all to one venue in Ashton Under Lyne which then created Boundary Dance Company. However, as we continue to expand our school and keep offering such a variety of classes we changed the name to Boundary Arts Centre. All students that are 5+ and take part in our prestigious government accredited RAD Ballet IDTA Tap exams and Acrobatic Arts exams. And students aged 3+ can participate in IDTA musical theatre exams. All students have the opportunity to take part in our annual showcase that will not only develop skills which assist in their personal development but also skills which could lead them onto a professional career, if they wish. We also take part in mini performances and competitions through out the year which we have been extremely successful in. We believe that hard work, discipline and determination are essential and we encourage all students to believe in themselves.
