The Early Years Alliance provides flexible, affordable and quality childcare across England. Ladywell Pre-school is an Alliance childcare service located in Ladywell, London. We offer 28 Ofsted-registered places and is assessed as 'Good' by Ofsted. Our committed, friendly and well-qualified pre-school team provides high quality care and learning opportunities for children aged 2 to 5 years. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a focus on learning through play and actively encourage parents to become involved in the life of the Pre-school. We are open Monday - Friday Morning session 9.15am - 12.15pm Lunch club 12.15pm - 12.45pm Afternoon session 12.45pm - 3.45pm 38 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays and three staff training days. During the pandemic when indoor trips were a big NO NO we decided to make our own trip facilities onsite, by re vamping our corridor that housed bags and coats into our own Nature reserve and Forest Cafe. Remembrance Day On Armistice Day we decided to focus on one person from WW2. Ena Collymore-Woodstock OBE is believed to be the oldest surviving female veteran of the British Army at 103. We had many discussions with the children about Ena and the meaning behind the poppy. It was fantastic to hear the children could recall the information.

In this funny old time we believe it's super important to take extra care of our kids and their families' emotional and physical health. Sun Bear Yoga combines yoga, play, fun, dance, drama, music, acro, storytelling, relaxation and mindfulness to nurture positive wellbeing and encourage community support and socialisation (team work- yay). Why is yoga good for kids? It improves concentration and co-ordination, develops body awareness, calms the racing mind and boosts self-esteem and inner confidence. Our mission is to create a space for some much needed time out, fun without distraction, giggles and to provide the opportunity for an emotional reset. We want to give kids and their families the tools to cope better with the daily stressors that come with modern family life. We believe in equality, inclusivity, tolerance, compassion and respect and these values form the foundations of our classes. Who we are Lotus Learning Consultants are part of a global movement working to normalise society’s attitudes towards mental health and to empower people, through delivery of nationally accredited training, to care for themselves and others. The MHFA Programme began in Australia in 2000; the organisation now known as Mental Health First Aid International has approved more than 25 countries including Mental Health First Aid England to accredit individuals to deliver Mental Health First Aid training programmes. Our Instructors are professionals, who have been through the MHFA England accredited training, with a wide range of professional experience. They balance the serious nature of the subject with engaging delivery styles so that participants leave feeling energised and confident to make positive change.
