About Solent Boat Training - RYA Advanced Training Centre Solent Boat Training (SBT) in Southampton is a truly national training centre based in the famous English Solent with 20 years experience in delivering low student ratio training courses. We have students travelling from all over the UK and Europe to train with our approved RYA, HSE & MCA instructors. All the courses found on this website are run by our own instructors at our own training centre, we do not farm out courses to other centres. This is due to our amazing resources including our boat fleet, classrooms and instructor team whom the vast majority are full time staff. We are not a one man and a boat operation, unlike many other centres. We now have boats based in Southampton & Lymington. We offer courses & events all over the Solent. We specialise in low student/instructor ratio training at amazing pricing because we own our own fleet. With 15 assorted yachts, motorboats & ribs we have the complete flexibility to run courses for private individuals, companies and organisations. We offer training for all, from an absolute beginner to a Yachtmaster Ocean skipper. We also work alongside and are the training provider for Solent Boat Charters a large local sailing events company. We have 6 classrooms and a training workshop all within the marina together with free accommodation included with all sailing courses means your training will be to the highest standard. We offer RYA courses and own boat tuition all around the Solent including Southampton, Yarmouth, Hamble, Lymington & Cowes. RYA Powerboat Courses Inc Level 2 & ICC We run the RYA powerboat level 2 courses throughout the year on our own fleet of 6m training ribs with Intermediate courses run on either of our 7.2m XSribs from our base in Southampton. We also run MCA & SBT advanced powerboat training courses on our 7.5m XSRibs. Many of these boats are MCA commercially coded vessels for day and night use up to 20 miles from lan

Šárka Elias is a singer/songwriter, vocal coach and workshop facilitator. A classically trained vocalist from the Czech Republic with significant experience of musical styles from around the globe– her passion for Ethnic music led her to Brazil and India where she studied and performed with renowned musicians. During a visit to the Amazon Rainforest she learnt and collected songs and beats passed down through the generations. Her musical output is constantly evolving as she takes inspiration from the various cultures she voraciously explores, blending different styles to bring a unique and uplifting energy to her performances. Since 2014 she has been guiding circles in UK, India, Peru, Czech republic and Greece. Apart from her singing circles and concerts, she currently offers vocal sessions and transformational voice workshops

Welcome to the Jewellery Cabin, a beautiful teaching studio on the Isle of Wight offering a variety of courses from beginner days to masterclasses. We all enjoy giving something new a try and we would love to inspire you by showing you how to make jewellery. Whether you're a total beginner or hoping to further your skills, our friendly tutors are here to help. Our well equipped workshop is also available for private parties, so whether you're looking to celebrate a special occasion or spend some time with loved ones, we can teach groups of up to 8 people. We believe that being creative is good for the soul. We would love you to come to the cabin, connect and enjoy yourself, taking home something beautiful you have created, now that's pretty special.

In this two hour workshop, you will learn how to design and make your very own pairs of earrings using resin and dried flowers. I'll share with you the skills, tips and tricks I've learned and taught myself since starting up Honeysuckle 2 years ago. All equipment, dried flowers and refreshments will be provided. Feel free to bring along your own dried blooms for casting. On the day, you will cast your own earring designs in resin, which will be available to collect once hardened at a later date. You will also have the opportunity to play around with finishing/assembling/designing your own earrings from pre-cast resin parts to gain an understanding of the full making process. You will take away your own custom made earrings.

Hello and welcome! My name is Gediminas and I am the founder of Godlike inc. It’s a small automotive restoration workshop in Kaunas, Lithuania established in 2011. We love restoring old bangers to make them into polished out heart-breakers. Over the years we worked on bringing classic Mercedes back to live, reviving Porsches, sparking life back into classic Vespa scooters and even old neglected trucks. We do everything you need to restore a car or keep it on the road. Metal work, engines, suspension, parts refitting or refurbishing, conversion work, paint jobs, upholstery… You name it, we can do it! Knitted by Lw was created back in 2018 whilst on Maternity leave with my Son Archie. My background is in Fashion and Textiles design, obtaining a 1st Class hons in this subject but specialising in Knitwear my specialist area were hand and machine knitting. I went onto freelancing in swatch design, pattern writing and many other creative roles. Why Chunky Merino Wool? I fell in love with the softness and luxurious quality of Merino wool – I have always been fascinated by various wool yarns, this certain yarn is so versatile and being SUPER chunky it is satisfying to you use as the knit grows so quickly! Which is a bonus. It started with my Signature Chunky heart wreaths, I continued to develop my ideas. I started off for my blankets using Chunky Metre Long wooden Knitting needles, then came across the art of Arm knitting via a tutorial I came across. I then decided to venture on with this idea and started my Arm knitting Workshop classes, Fast forward 2 years later minus the few lockdowns Knitted by Lw workshops are more successful and are constantly growing and becoming popular. As you can Imagine I started to take over the house, My talented husband Ryan came to my rescue and built me my very own garden studio (He is the best!) this is where I also run small intermit workshops – my happy place! Thank you, Thank you! I would just like to say a massive thank you to every single person who has support me over the years, from buying my chunky knitted creations to attending one or two of Arm knitting workshop. It means so much, I am forever grateful.

Welcome to Lighthouse Glass – I hope you like what you see My name is Vic Kirk and I’m a retired engineer. Glass has always interested me and I have enjoyed working with glass for many years, repairing and making leaded glass panels and making terrariums as gifts. Lampworking In 2010 I started my journey of lampwork bead making . I love lampworking because of the reactions of the glass that occur when used with varying conditions in the flame and kiln using different types of glass. Beads can be made from a wide variety of glasses that if used together must be compatible with each other, and when worked can come out of the kiln looking totally different. Making sets of beads provides another level of accuracy to achieve. Opening the kiln the next day always brings surprises !! Studio Workshop Now that I have retired, my wife April and I have opened a retail studio workshop in Astwood Bank, Worcestershire. We run lampwork and jewellery making classes/courses which can be organised to suit your requirements. These are bookable on line. The lampwork studio can comfortably accommodate 2 students. I also provide one to one tuition for people wishing to learn individually. Findings along with my lampwork beads are for sale in the shop and I also do lampworking demonstrations, so if you’re interested come along and see me in action. April, (Fuchsia Cottage Crafts) and my daughter Jay (Jays Jewels) are both avid seed beaders and have made some of my beads into beautiful pieces of jewellery – these are on sale in the shop so if you’re passing – pop in, and take a look.
