Guayaba.live is a web-blog platform aimed particularly to connect Latin American people living in the UK. It contains social, economic, political, and cultural information. Its information is presented directly with articles written especially for the page, but also through the interaction with Twitter. It contains reportage, interviews and features. Guayaba.live incorporates blog posts and videos. The layout is simple but attractive, and it is user friendly: readers can scroll up and down its pages and navigate easily by clicking on the links provided. Languages: English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. Guayaba.live articles are written in Spanish and English and can be read in Brazilian Portuguese using a translator tool presented beside each piece. Why does the name Guayaba.live The name Guayaba, Guava in English, is evocative for many Latin American people and me. It is, above all, a metaphor for togetherness. Guayaba is a fruit that grows in many Latin American countries, which Gabriel García Márquez celebrated in an interview with his friend Plinio Apuleyo Mendoza, when he said that the smell of Guava was ‘the smell of our land’. García Marquez was a Colombian journalist who taught responsible and creative journalism, and a writer who won the Literature Nobel Prize in 1982. Guayaba.live wants to follow his exemplary teaching.

She has worked as an editor and literary scout at Random House, Quercus & Eccles Fisher. She analyses hit TV shows (Killing Eve, You, The Game of Thrones) on the Story Grid Showrunners Podcast. Matt Trinetti Matt Trinetti is a writer, publisher, TEDx speaker, and facilitator. In addition to running LWS, he designs and leads personal and professional development programmes at places like Google, Airbus, Red Bull, General Assembly and Escape The City. He's also the publisher behind Stephen Markley's Tales of Iceland, and his writing has appeared in Quartz, Observer, Huffington Post, and on his blog GiveLiveExplore.

The Play House Theatre in Education company has been helping schools bring the awe and wonder of the world into their classrooms for 30 years. We work in over fifty schools a year with our touring programme of workshops which bring the curriculum to life for children aged 3-11 and beyond. We also create bespoke projects for schools, offer CPD for teachers and work with a range of partners to put drama and imagination at the heart of the learning experience for children.

Our home is in Gloucestershire but we reach rural writers all over the UK and beyond. Dialect is here to develop talent, connect with communities and offer rural writers opportunities to share their work. Our Story Dialect launched quietly in July 2020 with an online Summer School of taster workshops. A programme of workshops around Stroud Book Festival followed, along with regular critique workshops, courses, a Writer In Residence scheme in partnership with Lake 32 and an Arts Council funded mentoring scheme. We are now offering regular courses focused on the craft of writing and immersive writing workshops in intriguing rural locations. Dialect is now a Community Interest Company, committed to investing in literature and author development. We will soon be launching DIRT, a plantable ecopoetry press… Ethos Dialect speaks from the edges of things. We celebrate the remote and the pastoral, the mountains and hills, the woods and the wilderness, the coasts and waterways, but also the small town and its suburbs, the retail parks, verges, dual carriageways, wastelands, lay-bys, scrapyards, agricultural spaces, derelict mills, industrial estates, motorway services, recycling centres, the spaces and voices in-between.
