Our Head Office and base in Northern Ireland is in Strabane, County Tyrone where we have our social enterprise – Strabane Garden Centre which is open all year round.We have in total 45 adults ranging from 19 years to retirement age, availing of their own person-centred, Western Health & Social Care Trust (Learning Disability) – funded programme on either a full-time or part-time basis. As part of the holistic experience, we built a space upstairs that is calm, nurturing, and safe; this space is the Beetroot Sauvage Wellness Centre, offering a variety of yoga classes and therapies. All classes focus on gentle movement that not only stretch and relax the body, but allow you to feel into it, explore and perform self-enquiry into your emotional and spiritual needs. A space to rest and focus inward, to thank the body, and to draw close attention to healing. Along with a weekly schedule of classes, we have a variety of therapists, whose knowledge of healing the body is rooted in their own journey, training and experience. They blend sensitivity and magic to create a safe space that allows you to honour your needs and embrace rejuvenation with full intention. In addition to our focus on the kitchen and the body, we have our little slice of heaven, our city sanctuary garden: a rustic space that you can dance in, eat in, laugh in, or bring plants and garden in. As often as possible we have musicians playing live music on Sundays and we thoroughly encourage dancing if you feel so inspired. We do!

ABOUT US Wuntanara – meaning ‘we are together’ in the Soussou language from Guinea Conakry – is a collective of outstanding artists from West Africa and dedicated African drumming and dance students from across Europe. Master Drummer Souleymane Compo is the Founder and Artistic Director Wuntanara, and CEO of Wuntanara Ltd. Souleymane was born into the proud musical tradition in Guinea. As a young man he travelled to The Gambia, where he continued his training in the traditional arts with Guinean masters, in the famous Fatala Drum and Dance School. He soon began teaching African drumming and dance to students from all over the world. An accomplished dancer, he also became choreographer and lead dancer for the Fatala Ballet troupe. Souleymane moved from Africa to London in 2004. Since then he has been teaching and performing in schools, weekly classes, festivals and private events across the UK. He combines warmth and patience with great musical knowledge and skill. He is an inspiring teacher, as well as an accomplished performer. Wuntanara's lead dancer is Salif Camara Salif belongs to a family of Guinean artists, and began dancing at a young age. An exhilarating dancer, Salif has performed in some of the most acclaimed Guinean ballet troupes and teaches Guinean dance to student across Europe as well as in Guinea.
