Carole Douillot

carole douillot

Finishing my Masters degree in Business management and English back in 1990, I was drawn to my initial love for teaching. From then on, my career path veered from teaching to customer coordinator, project manager to being a progress coach in a Sixth Form College. This last step inspired me to become a qualified coach. I decided to leave full time employment in September 2016 and after a very enjoyable 6 month training with Animas I got my Transformational Life Coaching certificate in May 2017 and became ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited in June 2018. As a true multipotentialite, my life also involves many projects, volunteering, mentoring and training. My coaching clients vary from students to corporate, self employed and Academics. Issues we have been addressing range from self confidence, lack of direction and clarity to procrastination. My own learnings through this amazing journey have been patience and looking at others’ perspectives and stay curious. My key skill is presence and intuition. Looking forward to carrying on growing as a professional coach, I seize every opportunity to attend talks, networking events, read blogs, volunteer and reach out to the community. In the long run, my main goals are to keep helping the most in need: the youngsters. I truly believe in the power of pure coaching and will endeavour to keep learning and better my skills to help you obtain the change you crave for. Why chose me? because I will help you move forward, take action by gaining clarity and confidence to do so in a few very powerful life changing coaching sessions.

the dog first aid co. ltd

Blyth

The Dog First Aid Co. Ltd was established in May 2020 by Registered Veterinary Nurse, Amy. Written in line with the latest RECOVER guidelines and fully compliant with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, Amy created informative Ofqual regulated & CPD accredited courses to educate all dog professionals and owners on a variety of canine emergencies. Amy started her veterinary career as an Auxiliary Nurse in 2011 prior to becoming a veterinary nursing student. Amy began her training in Preston, Lancashire in 2013 before qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in 2015 and joining the RCVS Register of Veterinary Nurses in February 2016. Shortly after qualifying, Amy moved from first opinion general practice into emergency & critical care nursing and began her Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency & Critical Care – which she completed in 2019. Having worked in emergency & critical care medicine for some time alongside owning dogs of her own, Amy grew a passion for dog first aid and hopes that utilising her skills to educate pet professionals and owners, it will enable them to perform life saving care to their dog until they reach professional veterinary care. We have since welcomed Lauren to the team as a second course tutor. Lauren is also an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse as we believe veterinary based courses should only be taught by veterinary professionals who carry the necessary skillset and experience to teach the subject. Local Wine School is a professional wine education network with centres at over 40 locations across the country. Established in 1999, the group is now the UK's largest network of WSET-approved wine educators, and is trusted to deliver by some of the best-known and well-respected names in the hospitality industry. A detailed knowledge of soil types and winemaking is not necessary to sell wine – but a little knowledge can generate confidence and enthusiasm which has a major impact on sales. We are independent, we don't sell wine, we are full-time professional educators – we don't do anything else. We can guide you through the choice of wine training available from Introductory to Advanced Levels, including WSET Courses from Level 1 to Level 3, as well as bespoke training designed to suit your needs. WSET qualifications are now a 'must have' for anybody seriously considering a career in a wine related industry and our WSET-accredited tutors have some of the highest pass rates in the country. If you can answer yes to any of these six questions - we also know that we can help you! Do you sell more wine from the low-value end of your range than you would like? Would you like your staff to have confidence in recommending wines to match your food? Do you find your customers increasingly know more about wine than your own staff? Do you have to train new staff who have limited experience selling wine? Are your staff keen to acquire formal qualifications? Do you feel you need to offer career support to attract and retain the best quality staff?

Snowflake Education

London

Snowflake Education is dedicated to help universities, schools and organizations with integrating sustainability in their training and education activities. We have developed a completely new and innovative concept for teaching this complex and challenging topic: a combination of online based pre-exercises and active learning board game seminars – put together in a flipped-classroom setting. This method is now used in dozens of schools in several countries, and every year thousands of students learn sustainability with the help of Snowflake Education’s game-based approach. See method for a more in-depth description of our pedagogical method. Mission Every student should get the training and teaching they need to be able to contribute to a better world. We believe that sustainability is not only important to integrate in all education, but that sustainability is in fact the reason for why we conduct education in the first place. At the core of the concept of sustainability lies to work for a better world. And helping their students to achieve the tools to be able to do exactly that – is probably what motivates every teacher and every professor in the world to go to work every day. Therefore, finding a straightforward and effective way to integrate a sustainability perspective in any subject course should be the obvious choice for all educators. The Snowflake Education method is tailored for doing just that. Team Snowflake Education is a small start-up based in Stockholm, Sweden – but with a world-wide reach. Our small but dedicated team believes that what we do can actually play a huge role for what will happen with the world.
