Established by Jenna Walker in 2013, after a number of years teaching in the North Berwick area, Freedom and Form Dance Training provides an opportunity for students to develop their dance technique, build confidence and make friends in a fun, friendly, caring and safe environment. Based at our own premises at The Lighthouse North Berwick, our qualified teaching staff offer a wide range of dance styles for both children and adults of all ages. We believe dance should be fun and some of the disciplines we teach include: Ballet via the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. Modern and Tap by Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) syllabus. Acro Dance following the Acrobatic Arts programme. Street Dance, Musical Theatre and much more. Over the years our students have taken exams to a very high level and we proudly hold a 100% pass rate. Our Studio is well equipped with mirrors and ballet barres for hosting dance classes but is also the perfect space for our highly enjoyable Dance Birthday Parties. At Freedom and Form dance Training, we have such a love and passion for dance and hope to pass this on to our pupils daily and to the community we serve via public performances which we are always so thrilled to be invited to.

I’m Simon Michaels. I combine 30 years experience of meditation and mindfulness practice, with being a social entrepreneur and business advisor. Whilst my training and coaching is entirely secular, my experience of meditation comes from a deep and on-going practice in the Buddhist contemplative tradition. I have lay ordination as Upasaka Tsultrim Wangpo in the Namgyal lineage. This ancient wisdom is the foundation for effective mindfulness practice, where sound ethical values underpin the techniques and tools. My long experience in meditation, and on-going practice and retreat attendance, ensures that I stay in tune with 2500 years of teaching, that I channel when working with you. In parallel, I have been a very successful social entrepreneur for the last 20 years, applying the boundless energy that comes from being in touch with one's true self. This has included setting up seven profitable enterprises with multiple six-figure turnovers. I have formal qualifications in business support, coaching, and mindfulness teaching. I’m a member of the International Stress Management Association and have a Mental Health First Aid certificate, and adhere to the code of practice for mindfulness-based trainers. I’m an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a director of several successful ethical companies, and have advised businesses, government agencies, third sector organisations and local authorities, as well as training and coaching hundreds of individuals.

I am Jacqui Shankly, and I have worked for over 20 years supporting families with young children. I began working in Early Years community music for the charity sector, working with families throughout Staffordshire and the West Midlands. I loved my work, and what fascinated me most was the power of music to stimulate fun, playfulness, conversations and connection between children and their parents and carers. So began a lifetime of interest and research into early childhood development and attachment, culminating in training as a Play Therapist and founding Moonbeams CIC, an organisation dedicated to promoting positive childhood mental health through direct work with children, and support for the adults around them. My passion and joy is working with families. Parents are their child’s first and most enduring teacher, and the family dynamic forms the basis of a child’s future view of the world. Parenting is one of the most demanding jobs in the world, and everyone needs support from time to time. My approach is playful, non-judgemental and supportive. Whether you access individual Play Therapy or Filial Therapy support for your child or a child in your care, , or access one of my online training courses, then I am confident that your connection with your child will grow stronger, and your confidence to support them through life’s challenges will be enhanced.

Chris Bolingbroke - The Teddington Trainer Chris has over 16 years of experience; having worked with some of the largest and most exclusive fitness groups in London. Chris has worked as an independent personal trainer for more than 8 years, offering face to face sessions, as well as online group fitness classes. Acclaimed for his ability for increasing fitness, strength, definition and maneuverability, no matter where you are with your fitness journey. Chris trained as a professional dancer, giving him a great understanding of core technique and a unique technical understanding of the body. Since qualifying as a personal trainer in 2006, Chris has worked for some of the largest Gym groups including Virgin Active, Reebok Gym and the prestigious American fitness company Equinox. Chris is able to put each client at ease, whilst also bringing a great sense of motivation, and energy. Every session is tailored to you, and is relevant to your goals and lifestyle, even outside of the training session. Complimenting his fitness training, Chris also leads the Acrobatic Arts course at the award winning dance school Teddington Dance Studio. Chris has also featured in numerous global commercial and fitness campaigns for the likes of Mens Health, Fitness First, Sports Direct, Virgin Active, Maxi Nutrition, GQ British and Jaguar.
