I teach in US crochet terminology. I do initially make references to British crochet terminology to help those that have only ever used British terminology. There is no need to be concerned about this since the stitches are the same they just have different "labels". You will quickly get used to US terminology if you have only previously used British terminology. Crochet is an international craft and to enjoy and take advantage of all the different designers and techniques &nbsp;from all around the world, you will need to get used to using US terminology and also get into the habit of checking whether a pattern is written in British or US terminology.</span><br style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); box-sizing: border-box;" fr-original-style=" color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51); box-sizing: border-box;" fr-original-style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">3. Join artist Julie Galante for this course designed to nurture your creative practice. Together we’ll explore ways to create work that reflects your individual interests, passion, and point of view, no matter your experience level. The course content is delivered over six live Zoom sessions, in a small, welcoming group with plenty of opportunities for interaction. Additionally, there will be optional (but highly recommended) assignments to complete in between the live sessions - assignments designed to get you stuck in to your creative practice in new and interesting ways.
During each live session, there will be a demonstration focusing on a particular aspect of visual art - this will include various materials, subjects, and considerations such as composition, theme, mark-making, layering, and so on. We will also have a look at everyone’s recent creations, with celebration of the triumphs and suggestions for moving forward with work-in-progress. Hi-Tech Training

The Preliminary Electronic Security Course is an introductory (or revision) course designed to provide participants who have no previous Electrical or Electronics experience with the background skills required to attend the CCTV Installation Course, Access Control Course or Fire Alarm Foundation Course.

The course gives both an introduction to electronics and electronic security and shows how the two fields merge together. Ideal for a beginner wishing to learn more about this fascinating area. A large practical content is guaranteed. The day will be an excellent learning experience with a skilled instructor. It is a great introduction to the other courses we provide.
