We aim to help people from those who suffer with PTSD to those who are lonely, mental health is very important and we feel that we can help with our horticultural therapy and a calm environment to help relax the mind and offer a sense of achievement in horticulture from growing a plant to building a garden. For those who feel horticulture is too physically demanding we also offer a floristry service for a more gentle therapy.
I'm Jo, a hypnobirthing teacher and mum of two myself. I found hypnobirthing back in 2014 when I was first pregnant and very birth phobic. It changed my entire philosophy on childbirth and led me to understand the importance of women centred, evidence based birth education, support and preparation. On a personal level I experienced two incredible home water births and believe that a healthy baby should be the baseline, not the pinnacle of expectation, when we become mothers. On a professional level I fully support women and families to make the informed choices that are right for them
An inspired student of Yoga and Ayurveda. Connecting the dots... My interest in Yoga and Ayurveda began from a young age and was inspired by rituals, ceremonies and ancient Indian approaches to health and healing observed through family customs and traditions. My mother has been an important role model. She is indeed my first healer and teacher. At first, it was my curiosity of this mystical healing art that led me to read and study more. In my teens, I started attending yoga classes with a well rounded practice of asana, pranayama, rest and meditation. Through living and learning Yoga and Ayurveda, I cultivate such precious awareness of mySelf and life around me. Whilst I continue to learn and grow on my own spiritual journey, I delight in sharing what I learn, gain and receive with others. Nowadays, I passionately integrate the two systems of Yoga and Ayurveda and other holistic health modalities to share therapeutic teachings and practices for groups and individuals to meet different health goals, restore balance and regain vitality.
