Flexible and online learning schedule.Education Inspires Change LD Training was established as an Independent Training Provider within the further education sector in 2009, offering bespoke vocational learning to adult learners helping both individuals and organisations fulfil their potential through nationally accredited training programmes/qualifications, with our Head Office based in Edgware and now Stanmore. LD Training provides access education qualification opportunities within a flexible delivery model that enables students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve their professional goals, improve the productivity of their organisations and provide leadership and service to their communities, as stated within the mission of the organisation. Over the past 12 years, LD Training has successfully delivered over 12000 qualifications, across various sectors including; business; management; health and social care; early years; education; hospitality; retail; construction and functional skills, from Entry level through to Level 5 and specialises in providing education to hard to reach communities. Having become a well-established organisation in the Government funded training sector, LD Training diversified into tertiary education in 2019 in order to strengthen its portfolio and to provide ongoing career progression opportunities for our alumni. In this regard, LDT secured a collaborative partnership agreement with Leeds Trinity University to offer a BA (Hons) Business and Management with a Foundation Year in Business from September 2019 at our campuses in London (Stanmore), Dudley and Nottingham. Following the successful delivery of our Leeds Trinity Partnership, we were successful in our approach to the University of Suffolk for a second collaborative partnership in order to provide our students with a greater choice of education pathway utilising a Foundation Year. LD Training (LDT) firmly believe in lifelong learning, and that everyone should have the opportunity to further their education, chase their dreams and be given a supportive and accommodating environment in which to flourish. As such we believe offering the opportunity to access higher education via a student focused and flexible delivery method to our students and the wider community provides the opportunity of continued education to all, no matter of their background. Our vision will always be driven by our commitment to quality and dedication to provide our students with a rounded student experience, gaining an academic qualification, along with exceptional employability skills and continued self-development. My jewellery is inspired by the natural world. The landscape in particular has a strong influence on the concept of my designs, but psychologically and emotionally it is the ancient world of Talismanic potency that inhabits the finished pieces.’ Design is the pivotal dictate of Lucy Copleston’s work, and imagination the essence. Her sketchbooks are used to ‘think’ on paper and her designs are further developed and refined through prototypes. Landscape has always contributed to her vision through an awareness of land mass balanced against sky, the perspective of diminishing roads and the sculptural statement of trees. Her mother Jean Royle and her grandfather Stanley Royle contributed greatly to this awareness, as both were landscape painters: www.jean-royle.com. and www.stanleyroyle.com The flowing linear decoration, a signature of Lucy’s style, draws inspiration from her early childhood experience of living beside a small river in rural Suffolk, and the familiar sight of shallow water rippling over pebbles in sunlight. She views jewellery as a magical element, imbued with an enduring energy reaching beyond this life, as did people of the ancient world. Her formal training began in 1962 at Mansfield College of Art, Nottinghamshire. Then in 1964 – 67 she studied for a BA in 3-dimensional design at Loughborough College of Art and Design, Leicestershire. In 1967 she furthered her studies at the Royal College of Art, London, specialising in silversmithing and graduating with an MA in 1970. Producing one-off commissioned pieces, limited editions and repeatable ranges of jewellery forms the majority of her work, alongside teaching jewellery making at her workshop on a one-to-one basis. She lives in the very beautiful Vale of Clwyd in North Wales, surrounded by an inspiring landscape, with expansive views of the Clwydian hills. Stockists:

Perkins & Gibbs, an upholstery business tucked away on the Norfolk and Suffolk border, comprises of craftswomen Libby Eley and Tamsin Driver. We offer a full upholstery service specialising in Traditional skills and antique restoration. We also offer bespoke design and build of headboards and footstools using sustainable materials. After this you will be invited to visit us at our workshop for a consultation where fabrics and a work plan can be agreed. We currently have a 5/6 month lead time, but as its been like this for the past 4 years we must be worth the wait! Tam and Libby have over twenty years experience between them and during this time have worked on a wide range of wonderful projects. Today, if asked, they would say their hearts lie in traditional upholstery and antique restoration. This is the type of work that excites them the most, using traditional methods and skills to bring forgotten pieces back to life.

Our e-learning training modules are now being used around the globe – and all from very humble beginnings. Originally designed for a local project our training has grown in popularity in the UK. We’re best known for our Disability Awareness Training – adapted for a number of business sectors. The training is available for taxi and private hire drivers, travel firms, hotels and the wider hospitality sector. The company is independently owned and based in Lowestoft, on the beautiful Suffolk coast. Our team is small but perfectly formed (we would say that, wouldn’t we?). And we are immensely proud of the work we do and are always striving to improve and grow. We believe passionately in providing a high quality service to all our customers and doing that with courtesy, professionalism and just a touch of humour. The company was originally formed by a group of friends who all had something in common – they had all sustained a spinal injury. Inn Training is a small training company based in Norfolk We offer a range of courses covering short one day “due diligence” courses which may include Personal Licence, Food Safety, Health & Safety, First Aid and more, all at various levels. We can also deliver Apprenticeships We have spent the last two years working as a lead on an Erasmus+ project across Europe, and are currently working on a project entitled “Bev Tour” and another “BeWell” which is about supporting Mental Health around the European workplace. Inn Training also offer Quality Assurance work as well as working with various awarding organisations as End point assessors. Currently we are working with Highfield awarding Body as subject matter experts helping to create the Catering T Level qualification. – very exciting!!
