Mara James is the driving force behind the Extraordinary Lives Foundation. Originally from New York, Mara relocated to California with her husband, Kenneth, and three children in 2007. They established Kenneth’s OBGYN practice and for seven years Mara ran the busy office. In 2014 her world fell apart. Out of the blue, at aged 48, Mara experienced a severe manic episode and was diagnosed as bipolar. Mara and Kenneth had already been dealing with mental struggles in their family as they have a child who has Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. Mara sought help wherever she could find it and will be forever grateful to her psychiatrist and the many gifted healers who helped guide her back to mental health and wellbeing. The magical gift that has emerged from her battle is a determination to encourage prevention and early diagnosis of mental challenges in children and encourage parents to explore holistic options as well as traditional medicine.

Derbyshire Mind provide a range of advocacy and community mental wellbeing services designed to support people with mental health problems as well as the wider population. Advocacy Services: Our Community and Specialist Advocacy services provide support for Derbyshire residents to have their voice heard when important decisions are being made about their lives or to overcome issues that are impacting on their health and wellbeing. We also provide independent advocacy support for Derbyshire residents who wish to make a complaint about their NHS care or treatment, including any complaint against an organisation or service funded by the NHS. Enjoying Derbyshire: ‘Enjoying Derbyshire’ is our name for our community mental wellbeing programme comprising of groups and activities that have the common goal of improving mental wellbeing by boosting mood, reducing loneliness and isolation, and creating meaningful connections between people in Derbyshire. Active Monitoring: Active Monitoring is our guided self-help service for people experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems. Currently the Derbyshire Mind Active Monitoring service is being delivered from three GP practices across Derbyshire: Crich, Ripley, and Horizon in Derby. MindSpace: Derbyshire Mind’s MindSpace meet-ups are supportive community groups in local parks that creates space for people to get together, get some fresh air, meet some new friends, and be listened to in a friendly and inclusive group. All MindSpace walks are supported by our fantastic Derbyshire Mind volunteers who are friendly, inclusive, welcoming and really great listeners. We listen without judgement and without trying to ‘fix’ or give advice.

Meet Cindy Trance Medium & Certified Intuitive Consultant Welcome if you’re new here! I am a trance medium, spiritual teacher and qualified therapist, practicing at the Light Centre Belgravia in London, UK. I also love teaching Reiki level 1 to parents and kids who are great channels. I am a natural medium, raised by a great healer, my wonderful great grandma; but for most of my life I denied my mediumistic abilities because of fear of the unseen world. My awareness of the Spirit World had awakened again when I went through a major life change after having my 2nd son in 2014. The journey started with deep healing, work on myself, followed by an amazing personal development. After the lengthy soul-searching, I got a clear understanding of my life purpose. I understood intuitively that my true gift was being able to help others share unspoken or deeply harboured narratives. Some of the people I meet through my work have powerful and affecting tales to share. They have been survivors of mental, physical and sexual abuse at the hands of others who did not hold their best interests at heart. I too have had to go on a confronting journey of healing, and today I offer myself as a bridge for others. My work now, as both survivor and light worker to people who are still wandering lost in the dark, is helping navigate a pathway from hopelessness to life-affirming power. Whatever the challenge you have when you come to see me, I am able to use the combination of all my abilities to help you ...assisted by the unseen world. My work as a healing medium has the advantage of being compatible with any type of medical treatment. I am not a doctor and as such do not make diagnosis. Think of energy healing simply as a good auxiliary of care in strengthening your energy field. Since my awakening I attended teachings of Trance medium Elizabeth Roberts at the College of Psychic Studies in South Kensington, London. I also regularly attends Trance mediumship weekly intensive courses at the Arthur Findlay College, Stansted, England. Hi I'm Lisa and I live in the middle of the Test Valley in Hampshire, with my husband, two children, my dog Inca and cat Ebury. After having my son George in 2015 and moving from a city to a village, I decided to put my career in the corporate world on hold and spend time at home being a mummy. This life style change enabled me to explore my creative side. I loved living in a village and joined one of the local village WI groups and their craft club. I also took a number of workshops including blind making and cake decorating. However my love of jewellery, magpie tendencies and previous experience with bead work, soon lead me to the magic of Silver Clay. Once I found Silver Clay I was hooked! My ability and design ideas soon had my teacher suggesting I start a small business. This is how Country Designs by Lisa was born in 2017. All my work is inspired by the country side and nature around me. I love nothing more than going foraging on a dog walk or when out and about with my children and often come back with pockets filled with more items collected on walks than my children! . I love to learn and am continuing to update my skills and over the last few years I have added traditional silversmith techniques to my work. I have also passed my Level 1 and Level 2 Art Clay certificates and i'm currently working towards my Level 3. Gaining Level 1 & 2 enables me to teach under the Art Clay banner, this was very important for me to pass before I started to teach as it gives me the knowledge and skills to teach my students correctly. Most of my range, except some smaller items, are fully hallmarked by the London Assay Office. This is a 700 year old tradition that gives buyers the assurance they are buying a quality item which has been fully tested by the Assay Office. Musical Buds CIC runs a community outreach project at North Fawdon Primary School, Newcastle upon Tyne. This provides quality Suzuki Recorder / Piano lessons to children who would otherwise not have the opportunity to learn an instrument, due to financial and cultural barriers. Picture Musical Buds students Bursary paired lessons for a limited number of students who receive Free School Meals. This bursary project has begun with 10 students in year 3/4. They are keen to learn and it is highly beneficial to share the gift of music with more of our community. This is reliant on donations, so contributions are needed to sustain and extend this project. Other students at North Fawdon Primary School can book weekly half-hour lessons in school on Wednesdays: Individual lessons - £93 per half term Paired lessons - £46.50 per half term Fees are paid monthly/termly.

Welcome Dear One, I am Namura, a spiritual teacher, advisor and healer in service of the Light. From an early age, my connection to the spiritual world led me to explore various meditation, healing and psychic development techniques, both on my own and by attending spiritual development workshops and classes. In 2011, I discovered I had a spiritual gift that enabled me to connect with universal energy. This discovery came to me very quickly and without warning. My spiritual life previous to this had been non-existent. I was not attached to any religion, or had any visions, or felt anything. I was very content with my life. The universe clearly had other ideas for me and sent me a premonition of an accident that would happen to one of my daughters. The vision got to the point that I could clearly see life after the accident, and it was not a pleasant life at all. I made the decision to listen to the vision/warning and change course so the accident wouldn’t happen. This then raised questions for me as to where did that vision come from. Through some wonderful people around me I began my spiritual journey, learning about a whole new universe out there. I found I connected very easily and could tap into this wealth of support and wisdom. Although in many respects beautiful, this new world also opened up huge challenges for me. Family very dear to me challenged what I was experiencing and wanted to stop me practicing. I got very ill at the same time and had to battle every step of the way. I did not stop learning though, and it has been the spirituality, as well as sheer determination, that has healed me and got me to where I am today. I pursued my gift as a spiritual healer; holding circles with friends, becoming reiki attuned, healing with crystals, working with the angelic realms and giving readings. Then I went on a course about home healing through dowsing and Into The Light Property Healing was born. I now use my spiritual connection to alter energy in homes here on earth. It’s fantastic. If I couldn’t do it and get the results I have achieved, I wouldn’t believe it myself. This line of work is now my business and my life. I take my work very seriously, although I understand that many of my clients will never truly understand what I do. That’s ok, because it is the result that matters.

Loch Ness

I grew up in Nairn, A lovely town in the North East of Scotland that boasts a stunning beach and sea views over to the Black Isle. I loved art in school and was lucky to have inspirational art teachers in high school. I spent a year at Inverness College getting an art portfolio ready for applying to art school. Art school never did happen and instead I started work full time in a porcelain factory, life then took over and art was put on the back burner for many, many years. My career included working in primary schools and nurseries where the highlight of the job was art classes with the kids! Around 2014 I got my sketch books out again and started dabbling with different mediums. I was introduced to needle felting through a colleague at work, and the rest is history! 8 years on I feel very luck to spend my entire working week making and selling my art, currently from my lovely wee gallery in the heart of the village of Drumnadrochit. I also supply printed versions of my work on a range of home and gift ware to shops all over the country, this helps to get my images seen by a wider audience and in turn brings in commission work. Being creative is something I can’t live without. I feel like a piece of me is missing if I don’t have some project on the go. Art is my passion.
