Born in the USA, I have lived in England for most of my adult life. How did I come to write these books? I am a teaching Reiki Master who studied for ten years with my Master before being initiated in the Usui Shiki Ryoho system of Reiki. During the course of the thirty years I’ve been practicing my own Reiki, my ability to channel became clearer and stronger until a few years ago I realised I was able to see the world around me in a way that others did not. My efforts as I worked with my own archangelic guides as a channel was always to unblock and be clear, with no preconceptions of what they may say next; to stand well back and just watch and listen. In 2009 the Archangels wanted to write a channelled book about the Earth to help us to see the reality of the world we live on. Planet Earth Today shows a sentient planet of incredible beauty, and a human soul of light. It is the first book of a set of seven books that the Archangelic Collective and I have written together. These seven books tell everything anyone needs to know about the planet, who we are and why we are here. They include the complete story of humanity from Atlantis to the events of today (2022), and all the books have been written to be relevant many years into the future. I am still being contacted by people who are rereading some of the early books to tell me how it has all been true for them over the past ten years. I have been practicing Reiki daily for thirty years, it is an integral part of my life. Reiki energy has led me to other experiences, and allowed me to find the best part of myself while the other parts have slipped away allowing healing to take place. I started developing Peak Performance Practices while teaching at a Ghetto High School in 1978. My identical twin, talked me into entering the International Senior Olympics - we had both been collegiate All Americans in 1966. I had not trained in over 11 years and ended up winning 4 swimming Gold medals that year. Students heard of this and two athletes wanted to know how. I ended up teaching them to meditate and one I taught visualization. The high jumper went from 6”6” to 7’1” ; the other, from a 2:02, 880 yard run to 1:52 in in just three months!

I have been teaching Mindfulness-Based courses to diverse communities since 2014. I am a listed Mindfulness Teacher with BAMBA (British Association for Mindfulness-based Approaches). I am also a psychotherapist with diverse clinical experience in several agency settings and a member of BACP. My Mindfulness Practice: I have been meditating (patchily at first!) since I was 16 when I discovered a chant in a magazine which helped calm my exam nerves. Since then I have meditated with varying degrees of success. At first, using it only when stressed, meditation did not have a great impact. Then in 2001 I studied Yoga, Movement and Meditation in Rishikesh, India and made meditation part of a weekly practice alongside yoga. In 2006 I started learning about secular mindfulness meditation and committed to daily meditation practice. This led me to complete an MBSR course (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), taught by Michael Chaskalson.

The Young Carers Development Trust was established in 2012 by a small group of Trustees. The Trustees’ vision has been shaped by their practical experience as senior executives in industrial, commercial and professional organisations and also by the success of the Rank Foundation’s School Leadership Award scheme, founded in 1978. The Trustees believe their overall objective of improving the life chances of young carers will be achieved by establishing and continually developing a network of high-achieving young carers, willing to become active and inspiring role models for others from backgrounds similar to their own. The strategy is to assist and support young carers who are providing a ‘significant level of care’ for a disabled or seriously ill family member.

We are a well-established charitable organisation providing a range of counselling and training services to secure the delivery and development of high quality professional counselling and counselling associated training in Gloucestershire and the surrounding area. GCS first started in 1978 and became registered as a charity in 1984 with the aim to provide high quality, affordable counselling to the communities of Gloucestershire. At this time there was little provision of this nature outside of London, the small group of therapy professionals grew the service and later launched the training of counsellors so as to ensure an ongoing supply of professionally trained counsellors to the county. GCS was founded to provide access to affordable counselling and training for all members of society within the county, regardless of background or circumstances. We recognise that discrimination operates consciously and unconsciously in our society, which means some people have greater access to opportunities than others.
