Crimsham Farm is a community farming project, spearheaded and run by Veterans of the ArmedForces and young adults with learning difficulties. We run a variety of weekly clubs that engage with the local community, offering a completely inclusive experience for all. The site itself has been structured on a needs led basis, built and improved at every step through engagement with our users and the wider community, additions made at their request, making us the most unique farming project in the county. Crimsham Farm also acts as an alternative education provision, providing a space away from school for students who struggle to fit with the models of mainstream education and as a therapeutic centre for students with Special Educational Needs. By 2021 we will be host to a Veterans RV where members of the Armed Forces can come for mental health assistance, support groups, drop in centres, breakfast clubs and general information and signposting to help with every day life. With a passion for the outdoors, education and needs, Crimsham Farm is pioneering the way forward in positive therapeutic interactions in a safe and disabled friendly environment, providing a space that cannot be found anywhere else in Sussex in which the local community no matter the cause, can come and join in the fun, whether that’s through reduction of social isolation, inclusion in activities or just somewhere to come for a cuppa and a chat, it can be found here on the farm any time of the day, any time of the year! We have a huge range of activities to engage in, all of which can be found here on the website, and the site is expanding and improving all the time, so if you want to get involved, but cant find your niche, drop us a message or pop by for a chat. Smartkids Tuition Centre near Wombourne, Wolverhampton We are a multimedia tuition centre based in Wombourne, on the outskirts of Wolverhampton. Most of our students come from all areas of Wolverhampton, Kingswinford, and Dudley as well as Wombourne. However, we even have children who come from as far afield as Sutton Coldfield and Stoke on Trent! Here at Smartkids, we offer private and small group tuition on a range of different subjects. These include 11+ preparation, ICT, KS1 and KS2 Maths and English, and KS2 SATs practice. For older students, we offer tutoring for both KS3 and KS4 in Science, English, Maths, Humanities, Languages and of course, ICT. As a tuition centre, Smartkids Learning Success Centre is unique because we are also registered as an exam centre. Through us, students as young as 10 sit OCR Level 2 Diploma in Computer User Skills. This exam is aimed at adult learners and is not only comparable to achieving 3 A*-C grades at GCSE, but is also a qualification recognised and accepted by 6th forms, colleges, and employers. We are especially proud of the fact that not only do our youngsters have a 100% success rate at this level, but also, that the average age of our candidates is just 13 years old! The students who come to Smartkids for private tuition are all individual. Some are described by their school as gifted or talented, others are on the SEN register and have specific needs or learning difficulties. However, Smartkids Learning Success Centre is fully committed to tutoring all children regardless of individual skills and abilities.

Addington School is an Outstanding Special School for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. All our pupils’ primary need is a learning difficulty with up to 50 percent also having Autism. The Develop Us team is passionate about developing the skills of individuals within Wales. We believe in equality and aim to provide equal opportunities through supporting individuals with additional learning needs and complex behaviours by offering assessment, tuition and support in various settings. We offer a range of services including: Educational Courses Courses for family members aimed at raising their awareness of additional learning needs and developing appropriate skills to be able to support their relative with additional learning needs; Courses for practitioners working with service users, such as health and social care sector practitioners. This will develop their understanding of additional learning needs as part of their job role; Training will be provided to any organisation and support group that is willing to offer an inclusive environment for people with additional learning needs. We began our journey from a point of adversity. In 2013, after witnessing a family member suffer significant trauma, we decided to look at ways in which we could use our experience, to help young people in difficult and challenging situations. We began by volunteering, I (Simon) volunteered for the youth service where I worked with young people on referrals from Childrens Services for a year. Louise began by training to be a breastfeeding peer support worker and through this met inspirational healthcare professionals, who signposted her to further training. Now a qualified R.N. and holding a BSc Honours degree she has fulfilled her ambition. As modern nursing adopts a more holistic approach, we began to draw on this knowledge to provide a more valuable service to the young people we work with. We began to study experts in neuroscience who had a particular interest in music like Dr Wendy Mcghee, and Dr Ani Patel, as well as studying the strengths and weaknesses of using technology to support our sessions. We found that Music in general is a powerful and versatile way of supporting young people with not only their development of essential skills, like listening and team work, but over the years, we have recognised a particular advantage when supporting young people who may have become disengaged with education, or have Specific Learning Difficulties. We have a strong philosophy that health and education go hand in hand and we are proud to harness music and technology to share that message, something which is unique to us, that could not have happened without facing our challenges and informing our own personal development.

Dorin Park is a specialist all-age school for children and young people with physical difficulties, complex moderate learning difficulties, complex medical needs and general complex needs. Children can be admitted to us at any stage but most of our entrants arrive in Reception or Year 7 and are usually transferring to us from mainstream early years settings or mainstream primary schools. Our learning experience is designed to meets the needs of our students by marrying excellent personal development opportunities with an appropriate life skills curriculum and a relevant academic curriculum. Developing communication is a priority throughout the school. All our students in Seniors are given a Flight Path for their future development which is reviewed regularly as they move through the school to ensure they achieve their potential in all areas. Dorin Park is a school with a real sense of community – we really are a school family here. he Seva Care Group is an innovative, specialist, multi-disciplinary support provider based in London supporting those with learning disabilities, ASD, ADHD, behavioural, emotional and social needs and other complex needs. We offer a complete range of services from accommodation to community based support including day and night respite to education, work experience, employment opportunities and fully accessible transport resources. Seva Education currently caters for pupils from 7 to 25 years of age with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, ASD, ADHD and those with mild to moderate special needs and learning difficulties. Our schools are one part of several outreach facilities within the Seva Care Group, where services for children and young adults with disabilities, mental health and learning needs are met.
