Acroyoga is a physical practice that combines yoga and some acrobatic movements requiring at least a base and a flyer. At its essence acroyoga cultivates trust, active participation, mutual support, effective communication, body awareness and connecting with others through play. Acroyogagenie instructors teach the main principles of acroyoga while drawing on inspiration from various other disciplines, such as, contemporary dance movements, ballet and pilates. We focus on the process of shared inspiration, technical ability and refinement to produce aesthetically pleasing sequences which evolve into performance standard pieces.

The Eco Showboat is an art project aimed at raising awareness of climate change. The artists are navigating Ireland’s inland waterways meeting local artists, scientists and communities to spark climate action. In 2022 they travelled up the Shannon and Erne systems from Limerick to Enniskillen using only solar power. They plan to fit out a heritage barge as a zero carbon arts platform to navigate the Grand and Royal Canals in 2023. Supported by the Arts Council, SFI Discover, Creative Ireland, Lawpro and Waterways Ireland.
