Our approach is student-centred and eclectic. We work out what you want for your writing and work with you to attain it, whatever your idea or genre. The most important thing to us is the writing itself and the process by which you shape it. We will not burden you with the unnecessary self-appraisals common in university creative writing courses. Neither do we grade work-in-progress as we feel this is adds extra pressure onto new writers. All we want is to help you find your voice and finish your projects.

H&F Training Hub The Training Hubs (previously CEPNs) are education and service providers based within the community. Training Hubs perform local educational needs assessments across Community and Primary Care networks. The Training Hub is tasked with increasing capacity for future workforce training and developing the current and future workforce around the needs of a geographically defined population. The Hammersmith & Fulham Training Hub works collaboratively with other stakeholders across North West London and receives grant income from Health Education England (HEE) for training, education and workforce development of primary care staff. Who is the Training Hub? The Hammersmith and Fulham Training Hub team consists of experienced nurses, pharmacists, GPs and project support. They work closely with all staffing groups in general practice and with Health Education England to share best practice and support the learning and development of staff across Hammersmith and Fulham. We run regular education forums, provide clinical supervision, mentoring and training. What does the Training Hub do? Hammersmith & Fulham Training Hub has four key strategic priorities: Support, develop and expand the scope and quality of clinical services delivered by the 28 GP practices in Hammersmith & Fulham. The delivery of training, education and workforce development projects to support recruitment and retention, and upskilling of the GP practice workforce, which includes all non-clinical practice staff. This also includes the further development of themed education hubs, each one hosted by a local GP practice, and facilitating shared resources across smaller practices to harness a wider workforce mix (e.g. pharmacy, physician associates, nursing associates) Development of a platform across GP practices that supports the development and implementation of accountable care principles. A transformational change programme for primary care locally. Most recently we have secured funding from RM Partners to run a Cervical Screening Project across Hammersmith and Fulham.

SET is a multifaceted arts and community organisation based in numerous centres across London. SET is home to an eclectic and experimental arts programme alongside affordable artist workspace. SET Projects & our Members Programme include performances, live music, exhibitions, talks, workshops and screenings, and seeks to provide a platform for new and collaborative projects. With an inclusive ethos always, SET is a community which aims to bridge gaps between disciplines, creating a platform for collaboration and multidisciplinary experimentation. SET’s charitable objectives are: ‘for the public benefit, to promote, improve and advance education in, and appreciation of, the arts.’ We fulfil this aim by financially and creatively supporting grassroots artistic production. Our mission is to nurture artists’ communities by offering affordable studios – the space, foundations and support to make bold, innovative and exciting new works. We support our Members in developing their practices by giving them access to project spaces, workshop areas, and inviting them to contribute to our Members’ Programme, a public arts programme led by our membership. SET is currently home to over 500 artists and has a membership of over 1000. SET hosts artists working in a variety of practices and disciplines from text, performance and installation to music, sound, print, textiles and more. SET currently has 6 centres in London. The SET New Cross project space is home to our main exhibition programme, whilst SET Dalston hosts our social space & bar and our performance space & music venue. Each SET centre is home to a variety of artists workspaces: from desk space to light industrial units. Each SET centre is hosted in otherwise vacant property, some temporary and some long term. In 1999, West Dunbartonshire SIP commissioned research on the needs of local young people from Dumbarton, Vale of Leven and Clydebank. Findings highlighted overwhelming support for the introduction of some form of youth information service. A steering group, comprising local young people and adults was set up and the idea of a youth led information and support project; for young people by young people was developed with funding from West Dunbartonshire Partnership, Scottish Enterprise Dunbartonshire and Greater Glasgow NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. In January the Y Sort-It Youth Information Centre on Kilbowie road was launched with four full-time members of staff, led by a management committee made up of the young members of the steering group and this committee is still the main driving force for the project today(though its members have changed from year to year). In 2014 Y Sort-It moved to its huge new base located besides the Clydebank Hub on West Thomson Street. Where before the base had been a small and sometime cramped place to hold meetings and groups the new base was is now a massive difference and as such the opportunities are now boundless. Our Facilities Y Sort It youth centre provides a dedicated youth friendly space with various weekly youth activities offered throughout the West Dunbartonshire are . Our Y Sort It outreach bus helps provide youth activities across the local communities of West Dunbartonshire and our unique Carbeth hut, the Gillie Dhu, provides an opportunity for young people and children to enjoy the outdoors located in the Carbeth Hutting Community, Stirlingshire. We also developed a local shop front into a bike maintenance work shop & training space for our StreetBikes initiative.
