This live on-line training seminar provides an introduction for anyone who wants to learn more about the complex nature of domestic abuse. From spotting the early warning signs to the impact.  Sadly domestic abuse can be perpetrated by anyone and anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse.  It is a global societal issue and far more prevalent than many of us realise.
Latest statistics state that over £2.3 million people (aged 16 years and over) experience domestic abuse per year.
This equates to 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men
By attending this event you will gain an

This on-line training workshop will introduce you to the types of domestic abuse and the tactics employed by the perpetrator.  By the end of the session attendees will feel confident in identifying domestic abuse and steps to support.  
This training workshop will provide the first step towards understanding a many layered and complex subject.  This will provide a good overview prior to delving deeper into specific forms of domestic abuse.

Chynna is the founder and CEO of Matriarch Made Development, a consulting firm that helps organizations develop high performing administrative teams and identify and address overall operating structure
and events logistics inefficiencies. From helping leaders figure out their onboarding, communication flow, event logistics and how to further develop the talents of their teams, Chynna supports leading organizations in creating a systematic approach to tackling business/events challenges and bottlenecks.
Prior to Matriarch Made, Chynna worked in the personal office of Barack and Michelle Obama as their Director of Travel and Event Operations. Her career also includes administrative roles at Disney and the White House where she served as “body woman” to Mrs. Obama during the Obama Administration.
Chynna graduated from University of Florida with a B.S. in Event Management and Political Science and a minor in Business. She currently resides in Washington, DC with her wife, Retired Naval Chief Petty Officer, Katina Hoyles.

Kate is a business owner, qualified coach, consultant, facilitator, trainer, podcaster and public speaker with a background in learning & development, employee engagement strategy, continuous improvement, communications and marketing. After 25 years working across the board in blue-chip, non-profit and civil service organisations she now provides support to businesses looking to evolve and become great places for people to work in and with. 
Having worked with a wide variety of clients from school-age students to senior executives, she has been designing and running workshops, seminars and classes in person or via web events since she left long commutes and corporate roles behind in 2014 when she created her first two businesses. Her passion is in improving working relationships between roles and functions, supporting people to discover how to be their best selves at work. She does this in the auto-motive industry, financial services, medical teams, charities, global media, retail, education systems and the arts.
When she’s not working, she and her classic car Monty Morgan can be found zipping around the English countryside.

<p id="isPasted" fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">Are you a stressed, exhausted SEN/EBSA parent or carer, running on empty, with no time to shout <em fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: border-box;">"HELP!"&nbsp;</em>let alone step off the hamster wheel to rest, recharge and recuperate?</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">Parenting neurodivergent and/or school avoidant young people comes with a unique set of challenges and, if you&#39;re finding yourself lurching from managing meltdowns to fighting for support or feeling isolated and judged because people don&#39;t understand, it can be really hard and I GET IT!</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">After finding myself pretty much burnt out I discovered and implemented quick and simple self-help and relaxation tools that have helped strengthen my coping skills to navigate my family&#39;s journey, rebuild my resilience and rediscover&nbsp;my old self!&nbsp;</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">I was so blown away by how beneficial simple habits can be that it&#39;s my mission to help others do the same - and so I created&nbsp;The SHARE Project.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">The ethos of THE SHARE Project is that&nbsp;we need to put our own oxygen mask on first&nbsp;so that we can&nbsp;best support our kids&nbsp;and my aim is that the tools you will learn during our time together will become your oxygen mask, not only for use in case of emergency, but as a sustainable part of your ongoing&nbsp;self-care and wellbeing.</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">During each&nbsp;of four, weekly, live&nbsp;online workshops, delivered over Zoom, you will learn and practise a new tool to implement daily over the coming week (just a&nbsp;few minutes at a time, I promise)!</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">Then, during the following week&#39;s workshop we will review your progress, make any tweaks and learn and practise the next tool...&nbsp;</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">There&#39;ll be no suggestions of long and luxurious spa days and fluffy robes because most of us don&#39;t have the time to do that very often and, frankly, the benefits disappear almost as soon as you&#39;ve driven home... After being on the brink of burnout myself, I stumbled upon simple, yet life-changing self-help and relaxation tools. These quick, effective techniques helped me rebuild my resilience, reclaim my sense of self and navigate challenges with renewed strength. The transformation was so profound that I knew I had to share it with others — and that’s how The SHARE Project was born.
What is The SHARE Project?
The SHARE Project is built on a simple principle: you need to put your own oxygen mask on first!  By nurturing yourself, you’re better equipped to support your children. Through our four-week, live online workshop series, delivered via Zoom, you’ll discover practical tools to bring more calm and happiness into your daily life.
Here’s what you can expect:
Weekly Workshops:  Each week, we’ll introduce and practice a new tool designed to fit seamlessly into your life (just a few minutes a day, I promise!). These are not your typical “luxury spa day” suggestions — because let’s face it, who has time for that?  Instead, you’ll learn sustainable, go-to strategies that you can use anytime, anywhere, to boost your wellbeing, even in the midst of chaos.  You will also receive a mid-week email of encouragement between workshops and printables to help record and track your progress.
Ongoing Support:  In each session, we’ll review your progress, fine-tune your approach, and introduce the next tool.  
Community Connection: You’ll be part of a supportive group of fellow SEN parents and carers who understand the unique challenges you face.
