I launched Apples Learning Solutions LTD in March 2015, after over a decade working in Learning. Underpinned by the EASE methodology and with a vision to make learning easy, always. Since then I've continued my love of designing and developing exceptional experiences and I've done this while working as a Contractor, Freelancer and Supplier to some of the biggest companies in the world. Not to mention launching our Online Learning Store, launching ALS Coaching and in Summer 2020 starting the process of taking all of our Facilitated learning online, to help people everywhere to continue to learn, grow and develop anytime. So how do I do what I do? Firstly, it's worth pointing out that I rarely do it alone. When I'm supplying Learning Products (either Digital, Virtual or Classroom) I'm supported by an amazing graphics designer and her creativity to bring to life even the most abstract of concepts. And when I work as a Leader or Partner on major client projects I'm supported by other experts in Learning through an extensive network of on-demand Facilitators and Designers.

Our passion for climbing has inspired us to develop climbing walls that enable anyone and everyone to access the sport and develop the next generation of climbers. The Climbing Academy started in Bristol in 2008 when The Mothership opened. We delivered on our vision to build a bouldering wall that would appeal to as many people as possible, giving them the opportunity to take part in what we think is the best sport in the world. Soon after, we opened The Newsroom in Glasgow – based in an old newspaper printing works – bringing the city its first dedicated bouldering centre. In more recent years we took over Undercover Rock AKA The Church, Bristol’s original roped wall in St Werburghs. In late Autumn 2018, we opened a brand new climbing centre in Glasgow. The Prop Store came to life in an old BBC prop store and offers both bouldering and roped climbing. All of our climbing walls offer the very best in climbing facilities and courses, designed for climbers of all abilities. Our staff are always on-hand to offer advice to help you get the very best out of your experience climbing. I AM YOGI is the story of wanting to build a yoga community. The company was co-founded by myself and Vittoria Manca. After practising yoga together for many years at various studios, we wanted to give it a go ourselves! In 2016, I decided to leave my career as a secondary school teacher and complete my yoga training in Goa, India. On returning, teaching in the local gym just wasn’t enough and the vision started to brew. The origins of I AM YOGI started in a space called ‘The Glasshouse’, which was essentially a conservatory on a pub car-park in Moseley. The weekly schedule started there. Wind the clock forward 18 months and the purpose-built wooden cabin that now stands in Moseley Park, was The Glasshouse re-envisioned. The cabin was constructed by a local carpenter and friend, Jim Jones along with many helping hands from parents, close friends, extended family and local stakeholders. Today, I have a dedicated team who work hard behind the scenes, from our CABIN CREW to our outstandingly dedicated TEACHING TEAM. The community that I AM YOGI serves and continues to create is special - and now even extends out into the virtual world since the pandemic! You can practice YOGA AT HOME with us from anywhere, anytime! The work we continue to do is for every yogi that continues to show up and practice with us.

We're asking your thoughts on draft neighbourhood plans for Twyford and Finchampstead, which will help to shape development in these parishes, until 23 November, 2022. Twyford and Finchampstead Parish Councils have been individually preparing these documents with input from their communities over the past few years. If they're adopted, they'll sit alongside our own policies to guide planning decisions in these areas. Before this can happen, each has to independently examined and then, as long as the examiner agrees, put to a referendum. Each neighbourhood plan proposes a vision for managing future growth within its parish, as well as policies which reflect the priorities of their communities. Your comments matter as they will show whether you and others in the area agree with these ideas. The examiner will scrutinise the plans based on national requirements and can recommend changes, so it's important that we know now whether you would like to see amendments. The Bishop's Palace, Wells, SomersetThe site and buildings of The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens is owned by the Church Commissioners and operated by The Palace Trust, a registered charity which manages the site as a heritage visitor attraction. Our Purpose As stewards of this beautiful and historic place, our primary purpose is “to conserve The Bishop’s Palace and its story as a place of enjoyment and reflection for the benefit of all”. Our Vision To inspire and touch the lives of many by offering joy, healing, hope and wellbeing. Our Legacy The Palace Trust gets no statutory funding. The cost of maintaining the Palace is met entirely by grants from organisations like the National Lottery and Charitable Trusts, by Admission tickets, special events and our café. But this does not cover the entire cost of everyday maintenance, so donations to this aspect of our work are also always welcome. Likewise, the cost of conservation work cannot be met by admission fees etc. so we rely on voluntary donations to finance this aspect of our work. The annual costs vary between £400,000 and £500,000. So, this is an area where we welcome donations – large or small, regular or one-off – to enable us to carry out this vital work.
