Cheltenham Tutors Ltd was founded at the start of the pandemic with the purpose
of providing affordable and accessible tuition to students. With schools closing
and all learning being remote, we thought that there was a need to offer
additional educational support to schools, families, and children. We also
thought that this tuition should be accessible to all. We therefore provided
affordable online tuition throughout the pandemic and we worked with local
schools and families to deliver hundreds of hours of online tutoring. 9am to 3pm
each day, we logged on to support students in their learning and to offer 1-2-1
teaching. We greatly enjoyed working with all the wonderful schools, families,
and students and making a difference to the education of many children. Now that
life is returning to normal and schools are fully open again, we continue to
offer affordable tuition to schools and we are happy to take on private clients
as well. We offer our tutoring predominantly face to face. What we do We
specialise in meeting students where they are at and moving them forward in
their learning. Because we are run by teachers, we know what students need to
cover in their curriculum, where they should be academically, and how best to
accelerate progress in learning. We also believe that all students are capable
of making good progress, and that it is normal to struggle and need extra help.
The tutoring we provide is professional, effective, and supportive. It starts
with getting to know the student and moves onto boosting academic performance,
all in an atmosphere which is personal and supportive.
