BAPIO actively promotes the principles of diversity and equality with the aim of “Empowering doctors and dentists to be beacons of leadership and professional excellence.” Over the years the Association has grown in stature and influence. It is represented through active divisions covering all the English Regions as well as Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is now one of the largest organisations of its type in the country. BAPIO is a non-party political membership organisation. It actively contributes to the cause of promoting access to better health care globally and responds to aid victims of natural disasters in the world.

FLE has also organised and provided various intensive onsite training programmes to public sector organisations and firms in the past years to develop and improve their controls and systems so as to ensure effective compliance with financial crime laws and regulations. Registered experts from the company also provided technical assistance to different firms to develop their risk portfolio by assessing various risks facing the firm and to update and improve the firm’s internal controls and systems to efficiently detect and prevent potential financial crimes. FLE (previously known as ‘FLE Legal Education’) was established in 2005 as the foremost provider of the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT) in the Indian Sub-Continent, and was set up with the support of the Law Society of England and Wales and the British High Commissioner, New Delhi. QLTT was conducted in India by FLE in conjunction with Central Law Training (CLT), UK, and successful completion allows practising Indian lawyers to be admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. The programme was launched in India to allow Indian lawyers to take this test while in their home country.

Mind in West Essex supports people affected by mental ill health, predominantly across West Essex to make positive changes in their lives and to improve their emotional resilience. We also aim to normalise the conversation around mental health and in doing so reduce the stigma that can be a barrier to people accessing the support that could help them to improve their quality of life. We provide a range of services in order to help us deliver on these aims, these include: counselling as part of the NHS psychological therapies service; a private counselling service; Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training; emotional resilience training; peer support; befriending to reduce isolation; bereavement work and community support. In addition to the above client facing services we also run a Mental Health Referral Triage service on behalf of West Essex CCG. This service processes all GP mental health referrals across West Essex and passes them on to the relevant provider. We have an active presence on social media platforms as part of our efforts to normalise mental health and engage with the public in a way that is accessible to a wide range of people. We are an independent, local, registered charity (Charity number 1091154) with a board of trustees drawn from the communities that we serve. We also affiliate to the national charity Mind; this means that we are part of a network of 140 other local Mind charities. The services we provide are delivered by a team of 34 staff and 60 volunteers. We’re Mind in West Essex, your expert mental health partner. Our network across England and Wales provide services that are practical and rooted in the reality of people’s lives.

In 2004 a group of friends established the charity and raised funds to purchase the old farm to develop it as a community skills hub and cultural centre. People came from far and wide to help transform the land, cultivate gardens and help build the new facilities. Where formerly there was only one, exposed, windswept 23 acre field: we have a biodiverse patchwork of gardens and pastures with thousands of young trees, public access footpaths and a range of workshops and visitor resources. Over 600 people have volunteered here, we've hosted craft apprentiships, accredited courses and business enterprise workshops. We provide a year round, rich cultural programme of events and activities. Locally we've initiated a state of the art community kitchen to help seed new local produce enterprises and supported former apprentices to set up their own craft businesses within their communities. From small beginings we have grown to become one of the most celebrated grass-roots environmental and cultural initiatives in Wales with an international support base of former interns and volunteers extending to over 30 different countries.

Our aim is to work with employers to deliver quality training to meet the needs of their staff, whilst enabling them to meet statutory requirements. Progression Training has been developing businesses and individuals throughout the UK by offering a professional approach to staff development. We specialise in Health and Social Care, Business and Management, and Customer Service. All of our trainers and assessors have many years experience working in a variety of settings. We also have funding from the Welsh Government for some of our qualifications, enabling employers to access this training free of charge. As part of our quality assurance we are inspected by the Welsh Government, as well as awarding organisations such as City and Guilds and The Institute of Leadership and Management. All of our training meets rigorous quality standards.

The school has existed in different guises since 1882; initially it was known as Urmston Science and Arts School and was based on Flixton Road with 64 pupils. Its name changed to Urmston Higher Grade Elementary School in 1884 and the building was extended to Ross Grove. The name Urmston Grammar School was first used in 1923; when the independent school had 228 fee paying students. Fees were dropped after the introduction of the 1944 Education Act, which guaranteed free education for every child in England and Wales. In 1929 Urmston Grammar School moved from Ross Grove to our current site. Urmston Grammar was initially a co-educational school until the 1960s when the local authority decided to created two single sex schools. This was not popular with the students who held a silent protest and walked through the streets of Urmston to try and maintain their co-educational establishment. However, the local authority went ahead with their plans and Urmston Grammar School for Boys was built at Bradfield Road and opened in 1961; the Girls School remained on the Newton Road site.

The NIHR was established in 2006 to "create a health research system in which the NHS supports outstanding individuals, working in world-class facilities, conducting leading-edge research focused on the needs of patients and the public". Since that time, we have transformed research in and for the NHS and helped to shape the health and social care research landscape more broadly. Working in partnership with the NHS, universities, local government, other research funders, patients and the public, we fund, enable and deliver world-leading health and social care research that improves people's health and wellbeing and promotes economic growth. We are funded by the Department of Health and Social Care. Our work focuses on early translational research, clinical research and applied health and social care research. We are centred on England but collaborate closely with the devolved administrations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We are also a major funder of applied health research in low and middle income countries, work that is principally funded through UK aid from the UK government.

The mental health farming charity has grown and covers the whole of Wales with all areas of support. The DPJ Foundation works with leading organisations in agriculture including NFU Cymru, FUW, YFC, vets and Welsh Government to help provide an accessible and flexible service. daniel picton-jones mental health support services Daniel Picton-Jones The DPJ Foundation was set up in July 2016 following the death of Daniel Picton-Jones. The DPJ Foundation aims to support those in the agricultural sector suffering from poor mental health. Daniel’s mental health problems went undiagnosed and unseen by many. Daniel was an agricultural contractor, he was part of a sector with one of the highest suicide rates. His widow Emma decided to set up the foundation to support the mental health of those in the farming sector, for those who feel just as Daniel did, providing them with the support that he didn’t know how to get.
