Simon acted for several years as the person centred planning lead for Kent County Council and Norfolk County Council. His training resource ‘knock knock whose there?’ was used across Norfolk for staff development receiving prime time television coverage by Anglia News. In 2000 he led the first international Partners in Policymaking course in London developing leadership skills with disabled people and their families. He later received the Kent County Council aware for partnership work in the community. In 2014 his educational focus to support open democracy was recognised in the Adult learners week and won the regional and national award in the category of families and communities.

The Lemonade Project is an initiative of Shared Health Foundation with the aim of building resilience in young people who are experiencing low levels of emotional wellbeing. It is part of Shared Health Foundation’s wider strategy to improve mental health support for adolescents across Greater Manchester. Our resources and training are perfect to help schools meet new PSHE requirements. Project Overview The Lemonade Project consists of three strands: The Lemonade Resource Book: A range of interactive, engaging activities designed to be used by small groups of young people. It covers six main chapters addressing many of the issues in the ‘Resilience Framework’, for example emotional literacy, self esteem and identity, and dealing with challenge The Tough Times Toolkit: A conversation aid which consists of suggested questions and prompts which can help get to the root of any problems a young person might be experiencing, as well as an informal risk assessment. It also includes ideas for strategies that an adult may want to suggest to a young person to try and help them manage strong emotions. The Life and Lemons Journal: An interactive resilience journal for young people. We believe that the best way this journal can be used is to allow the young person to take it way, use in their own time, and then meet back to discuss any issues that it might have raised in a safe space with a parent/teacher or trusted adult.

Eclipse Gymnastics Centre (EGC) is a new club in the local area. With the core values of being a fun, friendly and inclusive environment to all who come to us, It is our mission to provide high quality, supportive training to all our gymnasts, in an environment conducive to happy, healthy, stimulating and challenging training. We are passionate about working hard to train and inspire our coaches to help the next generation of gymnasts that come through the door. All of coaches are trained to a high standards through a variety of courses to enable the gymnasts to have the best experience with us. We are working on our coach development to enable the club to expand the number of sessions we run throughout the year to address the demand for this amazing sport. EGC offers a range of gymnastic disciplines including Women’s & Men’s Artistic, and Adult Gymnastics and Pre School Gymnastics for those who would like to give gymnasts a try. Anyone is welcome to come and visit the club, to meet the coaching staff and see what we are all about, we are very proud of our club and facilities. Who Are We? We are based in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire offering access to Gymnastics, and fitness activities for children and adults of all abilities at an affordable rate. Managed as a non-profit business the company uses funds raised to further the aims of the club – for example purchasing new equipment, assisting with coach education or subsiding event costs for gymnasts. We receive no long term funding from the Local Authority to meet our running costs. As a result all of our operating costs are met exclusively by the fees from our members, the dedication, time and commitment from our volunteers and through the fundraising efforts of the club, staff and parents.

Canolfan Maerdy is the Anchor Organisation for the Upper Amman Valley and provides a multifunction community hub, with excellent services, meeting the needs of the community as part of a collaborative effort to regenerate our once vibrant local economy. Its work is focused on the Upper Amman Valley with links and engagement into Carmarthenshire and the Upper Swansea Valley as appropriate. Canolfan Maerdy has a skilled and committed Board of Trustees, employs 22 staff, supported by the work of over 30 committed volunteers to deliver services. Canolfan Maerdy came into being in 2009 as the successor to Amman Valley Enterprise, which had been active in the community for the preceding 20 years. Canolfan Maerdy as a community focused and led organisation and has long been a pathfinder organisation, identifying new needs in the community and developing services, often with others, to meet those needs. A prime example of such a service would be general interest, adult learning courses and clubs now often provided free by volunteers at the library or at very subsidised rates by Carmarthenshire at the Black Mountain and Glanamman Centres. The focus is on working in a complimentary manner with other organisations and agencies, identifying any gaps in services and facilitating development to meet needs as they become apparent.

B.U. designs often have a beautifully complex, layered patina creating colorful, expressive designs that are transformed through screen printing and digital processes into home wear, accessories and artworks. Lorna’s considered, process driven craftsmanship expresses her mindful, immersive placement printing style. Blessed Unrest prints are an antidote to mass production and aimed at people looking for something unique and exclusive. A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, Lorna was awarded a 1st class Hons Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Printed Textile Design. She also hold a City and Guilds Adult and Further Education teaching qualification. Lorna values the sharing of knowledge and skills with others and has delivered and facilitated art and design projects for many years in community, FE and HE. Working with others to expand her practice, find design solutions and research new processes are important factors in Blessed Unrest's creation process. Lorna has been involved in many exciting projects and continues to pursue new connections, support collaborations and undertake commissions. Opening in 2023 INK on MESH- Community Access Print Studio is to become a new exciting teaching space and home to the Blessed Unrest brand.
